Remember how there was that plan snippet about Lisa abandoning her oatmeal?
Yeah. I just finished writing that part.

The twins approach with an easy, casual confidence. Bold enough to entice curiosity, friendly enough to ease the most suspicious and paranoid of ponies.
"Pardon us, young filly," the brother with the mustache begins, "but we couldn't help but notice you out here and we couldn't help wondering--"
"--are you lost?" the clean-shaven brother finishes.
The newest chapter of Follow Her Lead is up and it has MORE Adagio Dazzle than the last one. So if you want some sirens being silly drama queens that are written like overly white teenage girls, go get it. There's no need to be offset by the tragedy tag either since it's mostly drama with some worldbuilding and silliness. We all know the Dazzlings failed whatever it is evil seaponies do so that's pretty much what the tag is there for. There's also more Sonata Logic in this chapter and
Chapter one of the re-write is ready to go. Crystalline is born anew, the writing is no longer that bad. Old readers and new readers may rejoice while the editor cowers from all the words to be edited. The quality is now that of Tomb Of Magic and there's all sorts of new things if you're new to the story or wanting to re-read it. I really hope you guys like it and read all the crazy sequels if you do. Be sure to comment and upvote all those things.
I wanted to throw all y'all a quick pointer to hazeyhooves' thoroughly excellent post on what the Mouse Guard roleplaying game can teach us about writing effective characters. I would consider it a must-read if you've got any interest in RPGs -- since it's a great analysis of how different RPG systems use their rules to focus the game on different aspects of
Seriously, don't you go blind from doing that or something?
On a sadder note, apparently some big gay pride event happened and I did not write a single lesbian shipfic... or any other sort of story for that matter during that timespan. Clearly, I am a failure as a shipper.
For those of you who like to wait until stories are finished before reading them, What Shy Did on Her Summer Vacation is now complete. What follow are my thoughts on it. Spoilers are most definitely present.
Rather than answer all of your comments on A Girl and Her Alligator individually, I think that writing a blog to address some of your questions / complaints will be more easier.
First of all, I would like to say thanks for helping the story reach the featured box. I didn't have high expectations for it to begin with, but it managed to surprise me with how many views and ratings it got within only minutes of it passing moderation.
Second, let's get down to the point of this blog.
and it fucking dies anyway

Luttant pour toujours, la Première Nebula! You up to the challenge?
What a weekend... I’m back from my first Everfree Northwest, and certainly not my last. My wife and I had a great time attending panels, meeting people, participating in contests… but I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start with the shoutouts. I met a lot of people. In no particular order:
mrk
Oldenbrony
Level Dasher
Novel Idea
Titanium Dragon
Sun Sage
Hap
GrandMoffPony and his wife whose name escapes me
Georg (whose wife was busy sciencing Mount Rainer)
Cojero
not an important post but
my old icon was a very early version of Lottie, before i even really knew what this story would be about. not to mention she never wears a scarf at any point.
so i redid the drawing (at least the head since it would be in the icon) to show more what her coloring is like in her pony form (given most of drawings are just in pencil)
not an important post, just thought i could comment on it
In a long, rambling, somewhat awkward conversation about how $500 a month is a huge amount for me to try and pay right now, I mentioned I'd made about $100 on writing My Little Pony Fanfiction, and the NelNet representative was like "Oh, I draw those for money!"
Here's to you, NelNet girl! Hope your book about bees takes off so you can quit working at NelNet! :V
It’s here, folks! Starting tomorrow at nine AM, Life, The Universe, and Everything begins!
Well, that went a lot faster than I expected. It's also funny that I said I wanted to work through my favorites first and now I'm reviewing the latest entry from the list. But in my defense, Treating Her Right was one of the first stories I read on this site and I swore I've added it to the list a long time ago.
So I'm gonna do the words and try for a new high-score. It won't be all towards a single project, that's not how I roll, but it will be going towards my on-going projects here on Fimfic and some things I've had in the works for a hot minute.
I think most of you (that watched Princess Spike) saw one mare that have almost the same color schemes as Adagio. Well... She's Tropical Dreams and she's simply amazing and I NEED more of her NOW! But for now get a blast of Tropical:
This summer, I'm hoping to reach +400 followers within the next few updates. I've just finished the first chapter of a new fic and am making gradual progress on MMBB Ch 17. However, since I do have a'lot of neglected stories you all are waiting for ages to be updated, I decided that my 400 follower milestone will be celebrated with another fan vote.
Equine Inferno
And Putting Her Heads
One of these stories will be getting a long-awaited update.
