So it's been a whole year since I updated Hand in Hoof. Quite a sobering thought, now that I put it in retrospect. I've really been that horrible of a procrastinator in the last six months.

Originally, the first three chapters were meant to by one. However, I was so naive and eager, that I didn't realize how lackluster they were divided. Some have said that there just wasn't enough substance to really hook them. So, I did what I wanted to do from the start. Chapters 1-3 are now a good 9k chapter. I think this might help hook some new readers, but I don't know yet. Let me know what you think if you have an opinion of the matter.

12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
I work part time as a back room guy at Target and I arrive at work an hour before work - there's parents already forming a line out the door for these damn things and I'm struggling to understand the appeal of the miracle of plastic egg hatching - particularly the fact it seems the actual 'hatching' is a one-way deal since these online reviews show the egg does irreparably shatter even though the top and bottom halves are hard plastic. Like, once the bird thing grows to 'maturity' or

I need to talk to somepony and I don't feel like I can right now so I'm just going to vomit words here in semi-public.
I already wrote a story about this, but it is becoming too relevant to bear now.
I'm writing this post because I want to tell you all about two amazing people I love: Mom and Dad.
I was looking for a draft I started for an upcoming part of an anthology. 'Cause I was really worried I accidentally lost a typed draft from four-ish years ago. It turns out I never typed it. I have a partially written draft from '19 along with two complete short stories I'd forgotten about. One of them was quite good and needed some light editing. Since I had a complete story on my hands, I typed it up, and because it's so old and relatively insignificant here's another story. Four stories,
...I dislike Rarity episodes. Quite a bit. I like the series and its characters because they're not superficially girly-girl and stuff, but the Rarity episodes move off in that direction more often than not by the very nature of Rarity's profession. I wouldn't exactly say it's a BAD thing for the show to cater more to its target audience, considering I and most people here are decidedly not such, but I literally do not care about the fashion aspect of this universe. As such, I'm not
Ways to un-stick a stuck story by firemoon42
• Do an outline, whatever way works best. Get yourself out of the word soup and know where the story is headed.
• Conflicts and obstacles. Hurt the protagonist, put things in their way, this keeps the story interesting. An easy journey makes the story boring and boring is hard to write.
I managed to keep my word. A new chapter is up, thankfully, and another one will be posted next week. I hope you enjoy.
Yet again, thanks to everyone for making Vice Principal Luna Has Pretty Eyes a hit! I never would've thought one of my embarrassing junior high stories would've gotten me so many likes on FiMFiction, but it goes to show that inspiration can come from the strangest places. I'll definitely write the other two someday, and know that Dean Cadance Has A Cute Laugh is practically begging to be an awkward Shining Armor fic. Because falling head over heels with a girl over something
Sorry I’ve been so absent for a while.
This and that kept getting in the way (Those two are never satisfied)
And it’s a good time for a bit of binge-watching even if it’s not too pleasant. I’ll have to make time to watch the 2002 version later.
Okay, so...I’ve gone over it a couple of times and I was wondering if I should include a few good points.
I’ve already explained that the casting is misplaced and underutilised so I can’t include that.
So here is a thing; I am working on a longer story arc. A much, much longer story arc. If you've read my previous posts, you already knew that. However, I think I've finally gotten the first series fleshed out. There will be twelve stories in the present storyline, with a trio of sort-of bonus storylines, one detailing the adventures of a past Doctor in Equestria, one as a side plot that didn't fit in neatly anywhere else, and one as a nice, light slice-of-life break from the adventure and
Hello everyone. Happy Holidays.
This year has been a strange one with many unusual trials and tribulations. While in some ways I'm glad it's over and that hope is in sight, believe it or not, I don't think year has been all bad.
Not just for me at any rate. And certainly not the worst year in history many have been saying it is.
I do feel that too much negativity can damage a society at large and negativity seems all too common.
DISCORD: "I'm back!" [laughs] "Speaking from the shadows is very good, don't get me wrong - I like a good challenge as much as the next draconequus - but being an actual character in the show again just gives me so much more room to work with for these! Wouldn't you agree, Fluttershy?"
here's a lil preview of an animation ive been working on (that i am not allowed to touch again until the fic is done )
Yes, yes, I know what I said. I can admit when I'm wrong. I caved and decided to spend the next 24 hours writing that Clock Tower fic I mentioned in the last blog entry. While I did want to put it off, I also couldn't resist the allure of posting a horror-based story on Halloween of all nights. That being said, here's a quick rundown of what I have so far (contains a major spoiler for Friendship Games, so read at your own risk):
Okay, the game really sucked. Like, more than a vacuum cleaner sucks, but the television series is actually pretty good. I'd recommend it to anyone who is waiting for the next episode of MLP to come out. Sonic Boom cartoon is pretty funny, and it offers so much more potential than the awful game does.
