I've been following Seattle's Angels for quite a few years now, as far back as 2014 when I first hopped onto this site. While they've not posted as frequently as the used to (a common situation nowadays with the slowing down of the fandom), I've always been happy to see the new stories they've recommended in their posts.
I was so happy to be given not just Lightning Dust, but Octavia as the ponies to work with for my Jinglemas fic for Penguifyer. I hope he loves it, and you guys too, because I worked really hard on it. I think it's some of my finest, and covers a heavy theme of dealing with someone you dub unforgiven.
With a pairing of these two for my Jinglemas story this year, it took quite the restraint to avoid making the obvious pun in the story*: a pun so obvious, the show put it in a Season 1 episode written before Berry Punch had even been designed as a background pony. Light spoilers below for the story, of course; read at your own discretion.
I have a Jinglemas gift story for The Bricklayer which I turned in yesterday that I think I need to post immediately or I'll be banned from the competition next year, and I wasn't entirely prepped for that eventuality, so I'll be staying up tonight trying to rush my two entries out.

Given that Dead Week is about to begin on my campus, I thought it might be prudent to put out December's update a little early. To begin with, happy holidays to all. Regardless of what you celebrate, or if you celebrate at all, I hope that your midwinter is full of cheer, peace, and warmth. Especially warmth. I swear, one of these days the wind is just going to peel my entire face off. May you all spend this month with friends and loved ones.
If I tell you the author I was assigned for Jinglemas is the only fimfiction author I have a T-shirt bearing the name of, then that rather gives his identity away, doesn't it?
It's rather nice to be assigned an author who you've read several stories by. It increases the pressure, I suppose, but it also gives you a clearer idea of what to aim for.
SweetBanana could use a little assistance with the old "three T's": transitioning, tuition, and tescaping her abusive family.

Well, we're about to enter a new decade. Doesn't happen every year, does it? Anyways, I thought I would comment on some things before we enter the New Roaring Twenties.
Jinglemas is upon us!

2020 has been a real shitshow overall, but for me personally, it's been a breath of fresh air. During this year, I found my true self, begun writing, and even made some new friends in the form of Quills and Sofas.
But that begs the question, what next?
As y'all know, Jinglemas is a two-way street; not only do we write a story but we're gifted one in return.
My request was basically the same as it always is: background ponies, any generation; prefer SoL; human okay but no Anon.
But I'm gonna be a geode someday, as soon as I get over myself.
