So to be honest, I've been a depressed piece of shit lately, last Thursday I ended up getting dumped for reasons unknown to me, and I lost one of the closest people to me, My best friend that I have known all of my life since early childhood committed suicide, I feel like a terrible friend because I was not there for him when he needed me most, I wasn't available when he was crying for help and for that I want to die, the pain is all too real and I don't know how to handle it anymore

There is a reason for my lack of existence these days. It's a very simple reason, really.

Yes, I am still alive. Many would like to know when Dawn of The New Day is going to update. Rest assured, the next chapter will be up by the end of the month and I'm going to get back to regularly updating. Once every two weeks, maybe more often. Why have I been gone? So... I've officially been down for a whole month with this nastiness... It wouldn't be so bad, except the fever keeps doing this fragging Yo-Yo thing where it'll go away for several hours (usually between going to bed and just after waking), but then it'll spike back up to low-grade fever territory...
My doctor will not allow me to go back to work until I've been 24hrs fever free, and yes, that includes the low-grade, 99.5 I occasionally spike up to.

Sorry for the lack of updates, life has recently found a way to consistently found ways to intervene at every opportunity I had to sit down for writing so I'd been reduced to only getting a few sentences or paragraphs in at a time. However, the past two days have proven fruitful in that I've gotten a good chunk of work done and now Chapter 14.1 (clop and clop-free versions) is more or less finished and awaiting completion of 14.2, which is where all of my attention has been turned as of late.
