Child of the Tree: ALIVE OR DEAD? · 9:24pm Mar 2nd, 2019
Greetings Everyone in the wide, wide world of Equestria!
Someone asked that I give you guys a quick update on Child of the Tree! So...(drumroll please) THE STORY IS STILL ALIVE!!!
Yes, I have not officially killed off this story and it is in fact still alive. There is no good reason for the delay, just a hiatus that wasn't intended to happen. This story is not the only one I have up in the whole realm of fanfiction and my muse has been jerking me around between these stories quite a bit. This nasty bit of writer's block has put all of my stories at a dead stop, not just this one, and I am currently trying my hardest to work through it any way I can. I would attempt to use the Inspiration Manifestation Spell but seeing as how I'm pretty positive that you lovely beings don't want shitty work, I won't force it.
I do still come back to this story every time inspiration strikes and I DO NOT intend to leave this work unfinished forever!
Before this unintentional hiatus began I had just had a vision for the end goal of the story and I am still excited when I read over my notes about it. I won't say anything in this post to keep from spoiling it for anyone who wants it to be a surprise but tomorrow I will put out a few of my notes for those interested commenting about it. Maybe one of your comments will spark something further to help me outline!
Again, I apologize for this unexpected hiatus. I am working through this block as best I can and this is not the only story that has been trampled in the wake of my inspiration issues. I do read all new comments that come in on both the story and the blog posts so you are welcome to comment on those again as well, you never know what may make my muse get off her lazy rump and help.

It explores a ‘what if’ that I’ve never seen before. I’ve read many stories and most of the good ones are the first to explore a unique ‘what if’ senario.

Just an idea mabye you could do a bit on tally finding the some changling infaltrators through her powers with the harmonic plain(or something the like) and finding out their plan only to scold celestia for causing an entire race to be pushed to starvation and help the changlings to get back on their feet, absolutely love the story and hope you can push past your writers block, 👍
