I was expecting it to be a typical Friday, but everything went off the deep end, and it really is still messing with my head, even now.
What happened, you might ask?
My dad.
He tested positive for Covid-19 this morning. Now, he compares it currently to a bad session of allergies, he's fully vaccinated and boosted, and he should be fine in a few days...but what happened after that is something I regret.
The finale of Chapter 5 nicely leads us to Dark Matter Day (31 October, also known as Nightmare Night), the time of the year when we celebrate the invisible component of the universe. Time for an update on this darkest of contemporary physics research topics.

Hello Chaps and Chapettes.
I don’t know quite how to approach this second entry in any other way than to tell you that I’m a big ol’ liar.
Always have been it seems, from the days I told small fibs (that’s lies to my US pals) about not hitting my brother as a kid to when I said I definitely completed that report for work, while just starting it. It seems that one filthy untruth leads to another and I don’t quite know how to stop it or even if I should at all.
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
B (a good episode which still could have been better)
Ugh, completely forgot this week was going to have a double feature. Maybe I should’ve just gone with the Australian release…
In any case, precedent says the protocol here is two episodes, one blog. Tiime for some serious quality time with the Student Six.
So I've been working on an operatic song for an upcoming chapter, helping to set a mood while also hinting at future revelations in the story. I feel that it is quite lovely, and I'd like to know what you all think

Yes, by now I have to admit, I'm a bit burned out on A Silver Summer, yet I still have all the ideas in my head and am looking to one day conclude it. Also, my creative attention has shifted drastically to Zootopia over the past year, which is important for reasons explained below.

In my last blog post, I said that I actively try to avoid posting overtly personal things on here. But that's the problem, isn't it? That mentality. "You shouldn't speak about certain things. Those things have a place and it isn't here."
But when you ignore something, you are implicitly approving of it. To be silent about an issue is to say that it is not worth speaking up about.
