Two new episodes officially came out today.
Some interesting things in them could be explored and expanded on for stories.
A small number, but under the break, just in case you haven't seen them yet.
Discord is somehow able to influence the Cutie Map, sending the mane six on a mission that doesn't exist.
(Sidenote: I'm kind of curious what, if anything, Justice3442 will do with this since he has established in his stories that there is an intelligent miniature anthropomorphic embodiment of order that runs it. Or FanOfMostEverything or related as the entire castle is actually connected to a young cosmic entity which controls the map.)
Gilda and Gabby are related. This has probably been speculated on, but now it's been confirmed by Gallus's story about the Griffon's festival. Plus, little baby griffon.
Finally, and one that has the most immediate possibility to me: Smolder's story means that The Bloodstone Scepter can be stolen from the active Dragon Lord. Although The Gauntlet of Fire is the preferred method, any dragon can take the title, provided they can take the scepter from the current one.
Ah! If Discord can mess with others' perceptions, he may not need to influence the map at all! And I'm not sold on Gilda and Gabby being related. I can see Gabby getting herself invited through sheer relentless cheerfulness, though. As for Smoulder's story... It might just be a story.
Am I the only one that keeps thinking Smoulder is male?
