But here I am, Civviq Writer. I am still alive! My time - and drive - have just been dissolved by the exams. They still are being dissolved, by the way. But I'm doing fine. To be honest, I haven't been writing much, and if anything it's mostly for myself, for practice. I think I can say that I have improved a bit.

This is it, people. The veil is about to be thrown off. And I am terrified as hell by what lies underneath.
However dark it gets, know that it could so easily get darker.
Not everypony is making it out alive, but I will not do anything cheap to these wonderful and awful ponies who I've had the privilege of writing this long.
No "Human After All?" I know, boo. 
But new Turing Test one-shot story? Hopefully yay! 
As of this review post, we are into the big stories. I have a lot of review sessions coming up with stories going beyond 100,000 or even 200,000 words, and it's getting harder and harder to keep up as a result. I'm still several weeks ahead of schedule, but if I keep getting these big stories I may lose my lead. In summation, there may come a time within a month or two where I'm forced to only release reviews as the sets are completed, rather than weekly. Here's hoping that doesn't happen,

I hate admitting defeat.
If you're curious how much I hate admitting it, go look at To Serve In Hell. There were any number of moments over its three-year gestation when I could've just thrown in the towel and walked away. But I just kept clawing my way toward the finish line, however slowly, and however impossible it seemed to get there at times.

There was, unfortunately, a concerted downvote attack on Harmonic Resonance yesterday not long after it was published, where I picked up three in the space of an hour. Shady as hell, but no point in reporting it given the mods almost never do anything about it. Annoying, but pointless since I’m not going to stop writing it and the commissioner seems happy. Been a while since I did a set of recent story reviews. I really need to get back on the horse, so to speak; I spend far too much time doing things that are far less enjoyable than reading pony fiction.

Back to the drawing board, then.
To make a long story short, the new Midnight Rising chapter is draft complete, more Feathered Hearts M-rated chapter updates are on the way, I’m restarting work on Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night, and I’m already looking ahead to the next new chapter release of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles sometime in November, followed by one of Feathered Hearts - Eros late in the month.

That's right tomorrow I make my official pony writing come back after the least three mounts of no stories. You can expect the story out tomorrow along with its pretty unique content. This new story is quite different from all of my other so far and features a character I've never written for before, plus some others of course.
Anyway, not to spoil who one of the main stars will be I can leave you with a hint as to another character who is set to appear!
