Harmonic Resonance release complete, Firefly on deck · 3:11pm Apr 11th, 2022
There was, unfortunately, a concerted downvote attack on Harmonic Resonance yesterday not long after it was published, where I picked up three in the space of an hour. Shady as hell, but no point in reporting it given the mods almost never do anything about it. Annoying, but pointless since I’m not going to stop writing it and the commissioner seems happy. Readers of Midnight Rising are invited anew to check it out since it takes heavily after that story, both in terms of the back-and-forth byplay and sheer fetish level. And you may safely ignore the DVs, given you know my skill at these scenes.
Next up is the 3rd of 6 Firefly chapters I promised before summer, and it will be another combat chapter as action around Harness Hill concludes with the Equestrian Army’s inevitable retreat. But before that, we’ll check back in with the Loyalty and get then-Commander Tailwind’s perspective on things. Let’s just say both he and Shady need a good stiff drink and a friendly ear after the events of the last chapter.
I’m aiming for draft complete in one week, and release within ten days. And after that, I have two promises to keep. One is for a new chapter of Eros, but I also promised Guardmaster (the commissioner for Harmonic Resonance) that I would be quicker with his next chapter. I don’t know how doable this is, but I’ll attempt to get them out by the end of April. Eros will continue the Night to Remember storyline with a predominantly gay-themed chapter shown for the first time from Chris’s perspective while Harmonic Resonance will show the ascension of our favorite spectrum-haired and blue-skinned speedster girl.
As we head into May, my writing goals get ambitious again. My monthly objectives will be to complete at least one more Firefly chapter, one C&C chapter, one Midnight Rising chapter and another Harmonic Resonance chapter. As always, I don’t know how much of this I can actually do, but it helps to set goals. It may also help that I’ll have a week off in there, but not for anything pleasurable. I’ve got one more surgical procedure coming up to try and fix my sleep apnea once and for all, this one aimed at reducing the size of my nasal turbinates, which appears to be where the final breathing constrictions are located. That’ll lay me out for a few days and certainly kill my libido/desire to write clop for a while, but it might be a good time to focus on fighting fics like Firefly and Feathered Hearts.
