If you saw the post I put a few nights back, you'll know things haven't been going that well for me. I'm still upset and frustrated, but I've managed to get an extension on my college work and am catching up with the class. I can't go back in time and get my contest entry in like I wanted, but I'll take what I can at this point...

Hey everyone. It's been about two weeks since I said anything (or posted new chapters, for that matter). My plan, of course, is to keep writing for the foreseeable future, but it'll be mostly when the muse strikes me. I am surrounded by fire, like there's a major fire right next to our town, and more major fires semi close to us in every direction. The smoke is thick as fog, you can always smell it. Street lights at night aluminate it and it's impossible to see anything in the horizon. We have these nice, big hills about 4-6 miles away from the town, can't see em.
I’ve been a bit lax of late on reading new stories as they go up on FIMFiction; the first story in this set went up on my birthday, more than two weeks ago, and I think the latest was up several days ago. Still, better late than never, right?
Though maybe not in something called read it now. Apparently this is more read it nowish.
Still, this started out as such, so a Read It Now it shall remain!

Okay, so when I said I'd update this whenever I felt like it, I didn't actually intend to wait quite this long before writing the next chapter.
Regardless, for those of you who remember this little fic, chapter 11 is written and posted! Hopefully there'll be more on the way. I've still got a few bigger projects to work on, but this one will always hold a special place in my heart.

and (spoiler warning) OKAY I BARELY REMEMBER HALF OF SEASON 4 AND I HAVE A FEELING THAT ALL OF SEASON 5 IS GONNA BE ABOUT LUCIFER. AND OH MY GOSH I LOVE CHUCK. AND ADAM WAS ADORABLE WHEN HE WAS ACTUALLY ALIVE. AAGHHHHH MY BRAIN IS BECOMING NUMB

Before I get to my point, gonna take a quick sec to PROMO THIS GOOD STORY from my dear friend Ebon. It's a mystery/horror story set in EQG, and a lot of hard work went into it.
Anyway, I realized the other day that I haven't actually written a fun/fluffy canon universe oneshot in forever, so if y'all have any prompts to throw my way, that would be swell.

Have I ever mentioned how much I think dismembered people look cool in fiction?
It's nothing I ever would wish upon another living being mind you (except possibly myself, but I don't go down that mental road due to how impulsive of a human being I am~) but many of the fictional characters I've made up outside of MLP are things like:
I like writing my most recent story, however I'm at a sort of standstill. I want to try something different with it so it doesn't grow stale, both for reading and writing purposes. I don't know. But I also feel like like that's kind of cheating and so I have some reservations.

Aside from being lonely, life is pretty good. Last night, I went to a dance class for the first time in forever. It went much better than I thought it would and I had a lot of fun. I'm happy but am still in that off mood. I won't drink anymore to make it go away, so I'm forced to deal with my emotions. I wish that I could see my friends more often. I thought I'd be a hell of a lot more social now that I have my license, but I was wrong. My mind keeps telling me that I'm not
