Story Idea I had. Posting it here because no idea if I'll actually write it or not.
Title: My Little Crow (tentative)
Category: crossover (possibly dark?)
Main Character: Night Glider
Supporting Character: Coco Pommel (sort of)
As a follow-up to last night's blog, let's take a look at the dreams I had last night. Had to make some use of waking up every couple hours.
These are pretty typical for what I get. Sometimes I get fully-plotted epics that I really wish I could remember in full in the morning, but they're almost always coherent stories of some sort. I think I might be doing this more often in the future.
Yeah so a friend of mine suggested that maybe posting every comic I update is a bit annoying to some people. So instead, I'm going to link to all the comics I worked on each week and such and see how that goes. We have the usual weekly update of Adapting To Night and the return of an old favorite, I Will Never Leave You! Yup, it's back guys!
I’d like to think that when I die and go to heaven, this will be what I see as the gates open to me.
Also, 500th blog! Let’s do this!
Hey folks! First, a general update: I did indeed have my eye surgery last Friday, and like Fell Flight, though my vision was temporarily worsened and the double-vision not entirely corrected afterwards, it's been getting steadily better as time passes and the swelling goes down. A week on, I'm pleased to report my double-vision was almost entirely eliminated and what's left of it is close enough that my mind and/or eye muscles can compensate. In short, I have binocular vision again without
I'm around, but in pain.
Last Friday, I had a minor medical procedure called Radiofrequency Ablation--basically involving microwaving the back of my tongue under partial sedation. The purpose of it is to cause the internal tissues of the tongue to tighten by basically roasting them, helping to open the airway--I'm still suffering a bit of obstructive sleep apnea even after the jaw advancement surgery I had a couple years ago.
So, it's late at night, like one thirty in the morning probably. I'm searching for fics (the system on this site is somewhat difficult to grasp) and I see one titled "The Twilight Before the Sunset". I didn't think much of it when I first saw it cause I got absorbed in reading another fic. However, I see it again as I'm about to lay down my phone to work on a fic and, offhandedly, I say, "I'd like to be that person who points out that technically sunset comes BEFORE twilight."
Two articles and a Beautiful Night chapter h-h-hot fresh for you, after a small tweak with the site layout to make the articles a bit more centered.
First is about Incivility, death and George H W Bush. It's a look into why it's never too soon to criticize a figure after they die, and why this ideal of 'civility' is slanted towards favouring the powerful.
Two more chapters of Starfleet Nemesis updated. The changes to Sunset's Game are quite low-key, and mainly revolve around Luna and Sunset's interaction. The changes to Setting Out include a better look at Rainbow's feelings, and a small but quite important new scene.
Please check it out.
Or actually, just my two-month writing plan from here through Halloween:
I have around 5500 words on the new chapter and three of four sections completed, though the 4th--the all-important Peregrine section--I have yet to start. I expect to finish it this weekend; depending on how quickly it comes (no pun intended) there's at least an outside chance the chapter will launch on Sunday.
Fluttercheer here, with an important service announcement. What you will read here is something I wasn't originally going to write, but since I'm silent here for about two and a half weeks now, I figured it will be best if I tell what's going on to inform my followers and the few, brave diehards who read Aegis.
It currently stands at 8500 words and will likely be over 10k when all is said and done. For that reason, I’m considering splitting it into two parts to give the climactic third section its own chapter and focus, same as I did for the Blossomforth/Cloud Kicker scene. We’ll see what my prereaders say on that score. If so, I’d simply release the two halves a couple days apart, and don’t worry; the second section has some sexytimes of its own!
Trying to get my head back in the game after the series finale, writing has begun on the new Nightmare Night chapter, though Leo Archon and I will have our work cut out getting it done in time for Halloween, with the former working on at least one section. Unfortunately, we won't quite reach the story climax like I originally planned, as a little more scene-setting is necessary to get all the pieces
It's been a long and patient climb. But for reaching that milestone, a slight change in plans and yet another question to readers:
Twilight Sparkle was interviewed after she saved Equestria from Discord that first time. She reveals a lot of her feelings about what she should have done better then, and a few times before. Some of her home life is also revealed.

On the next Nightmare Night chapter, as motivation to write has been lacking of late due to a variety of reasons, both professional and personal. Nevertheless, it's coming along bit by bit. To this point, I've finished about 2500 words and close to two sections of it, but the primary two sections regarding the battle between Night Owl and Shadowdash remains to be written.
Nightmare Night.
While all the colts and fillies in Ponyville are out getting candy and enjoying the festivities, four couples are enjoying their own, adult, 'sweet treats' and festivities.
I asked readers in yesterday’s blog post as to whether they’d like a Nightmare Night side story containing tales of the corruption and conversion of various background ponies, and the answer was a resounding yes. But for it, I’ll have to delay the launch of the final main story chapter I had ready for now so I can launch the new story concurrent with its release. Have to find some artwork, and quickly come up
