For you, the day the latest tale in the Captain Goodking saga was released was the most important day of your life · 2:04pm Sep 10th, 2019
But for me, it was Tuesday:

Hey, everyone. So, a short while ago, I had a dream, which was fairly elaborate, sort of David Lynch-ian, if you know what I mean by that. If you want to know what I'm talking about, check out my previous blog post. In fact, I strongly recommend reading that dream before this one, because it ended on a cliffhanger, and a little while later, this dream actually picked up where the other left off. Very rarely has that ever happened to me, but made me find the dream even more
I'm on the final stretch of KOTD so I'd like to take a minute and talk to you, my wonderful readers! I figured what would be more fun than to do a Q&A? Simply drop me a comment below with whatever question/comment you have (I won't give away spoilers) and I'll do my best to answer it!
Newest chapter (173) of Rebirth of the Damned is finished^^ Currently being looked over by my editing team, you can expect it sometime next week I think.
Hello, everyone. I'm sorry that I forgot to write last weeks Question of the Week. Last week was a bit crazy and then this week we had a bad windstorm that actually brought down a tree that destroyed our well house (so we have no water) and took out the powerline into our house (so we had no power), so things have been a bit crazy.
Well, my brains a bit achy so I guess this week the question is...
Which of these scifi series are your favorite: Star Wars, Star Trek or... Star Gate?
Celestia looked upon the scene with revulsion. Countless moons of work, many more of content and peaceful living, lost. Her capital was besieged. Once again, her ponies faced the threat of a malicious invading force.
This would not stand.
SO, when reviewing the initial run of "Between The Light And The Shade" with my family, the overall opinion was that it was "well-written, sad but good". I had mostly written it as a bit of fun, a goof built around my enjoyment of an old favourite video game series. The one mark against it being from my spouse, saying they felt it needed more context. The ending was cute but that until that point the overall work felt confusing, the series of scenes of the soldiers that had replaced the
Chapter 4 is out though it is about 300 words shorter than I wanted it to be, but when a good cut off point presents itself when you're writing take it.
So, I started writing this chapter immediately after chapter 3, and basically spent the entire weekend working on it so I can't wait to see what you all think!
Make sure to check out the Sunset Across the Galaxy Discord and I hope you all enjoy what else is to come!
So when I write a new chapter for this story I can't help but think about what kind of theme song it would have.
I think I have found the one that I think most reflect the theme I want to hit with my story. War, love, loss, friendships. A dark past in the field of battle, yet finds new life in the light of the apple orchard.
So, after my update for chapter 5 on Saturday I got to writing, and while Chapter 5 is nearly done, Chapter 6 is currently in it's outline stage. Because of this I will be writing 6 Tomorrow and sending it off to my editors along with it's sister chapter 5 to be edited and published for Tuesday. Once That is done Chapter 7 will follow and be uploaded on Saturday if everything goes according to plan.
Once again I apologize for the delays!
So I have been getting questions about when Chapter 3 for A Sunset Across the Galaxy will be out, and I wanted to let you all know that the newest Chapter is going to be out on Friday if everything goes according to plan. I would have had it out sooner but my work decided to schedule me from Sunday all the way till Wednesday, so I haven't had time to write as much as I had planned too. I have a lot of things planned for this story though and I can't wait to see what you all think of the next
As has likely become obvious, I've gotten a bit dried up on writing Hero Souls and Tartarus Forged. Tartarus Forged in particular I'm having trouble simply writing. Ideas are abound, but arranging them into a story is giving me fits.
Hey everyone I posted this blog a while back but I feel like re posting it so here it is!
Well done! You've paid the price of admission. You're about to see Riding High. It's Frank Capra's 1950 comedy remake of his own classic Broadway Bill. It's lively musical entertainment. Before you settle back, please see trailers for other great hits from 1950, plus one of the cartoons Walt Disney did that year.
I've finally begun work on 'Born of Rage: Age of Monsters'
I've spent the past year and a half working on a loose outline for the story, with many long months simply spent trying to keep everything locked into a seamless narrative. It's been difficult; life has not been dull this past year, and I've found little free time for myself in which to write. However, things have changed, and I can now devote a small portion to time into actually getting this idea off the ground.
Oh, and spoilers, for both the movie and the EU books.
So I haven't exactly put out much work over the last few months. I'm really sorry about that; between my laptop breaking all the time, the freelance work piling on, and general ennui and angst, I've been dragging my feet like a snail getting drunk on molasses. And not even good molasses, but the sludgy kind your grandma put away in the back of her cupboard fifty years ago and promptly forgot about. Now there's gunk everywhere and the slimy gurgling vermin are caught in a sucky deathtrap like
Old soldiers never die, they just feature in today's story.
This Isn't War
[Alternate Universe] [Slice of Life] • 1,548 words
Rainbow Dash was the Iron Wing. She was a war hero, the Slayer of Shadows, the Liberator of the Crystal Empire, the Wrath of Celestia. And depending on who you ask, she still is.
So overall thought it was a meh ep. MLP sometimes has this problem where the bulk of the episode is just going through the motions until the Main chracters of the ep figure out the right thing (this, the one where they fix up Twilight's castle, exc.)
That said, it can work sometimes like with the Saddle Row ep. Maybe it just comes down to timing and narrative flow.
