    A well needed break

For those few of you who actually cared to notice, I've been gone for a while.
The reason's are many, and they are personal as well.
All that need be said is that I've had some time to think, and I've begun to make stories again.
The latest work follows the character of Spitzer, an ex-patriot pony soldier in the ranks of the Voroshian Military as seen in Born of Rage.

I've finally begun work on 'Born of Rage: Age of Monsters'
I've spent the past year and a half working on a loose outline for the story, with many long months simply spent trying to keep everything locked into a seamless narrative. It's been difficult; life has not been dull this past year, and I've found little free time for myself in which to write. However, things have changed, and I can now devote a small portion to time into actually getting this idea off the ground.
The story will be in two parts; a series of interim chapters following the emergence of several Kaiju throughout the ten year period between 'Born of Rage' and its sequel, and a series of chapters that take place in the 'present', wherein the various monsters are fought by the peoples of the world even as they fight one another.
The first section will likely be roughly 16 chapters in length. They'll read more like excerpts than an actual plot. Their interconnectedness will only come into play in the second half.
The second section (comprised of an as-of-yet unknown number of chapters) will very much feel like the movie 'Destroy All Monsters' on a grand scale. There will also be elements of 'Atragon', 'The War in Space' and 'Godzilla: Final Wars' within it.
As is the norm for stories I write, I've already developed the climax of the story before anything else. In the spirit of Destroy All Monsters, there will be a showdown involving at least 12 Kaiju, with a surprise encounter that will hopefully make the story feel fresh and less like a direct copy of the source material.
Patience will be needed; the is one of my more ambitious projects, and I've still not come to terms with how to make it come together seamlessly. Expect slow updates, but with enough material in them to make up for it hopefully.
As a bonus, I'd like to list those Kaiju and Mecha's that are confirmed for the story:
List of Confirmed Kaiju/Machines:
Anguirus
Baragon
Battra
Biollante
Destroyah
Ebirah
Garuda
Godzilla
Gohten
Gorosaurus
Gotengo
Hedorah
Kamacurus
King Ghidorah
Kiryu
Kumonga
Land Moguera
Maguma
Manda
Megaguirus
Megalon
Mothra
Rodan
Super X
Titanosaurus
Varan
Zilla
List of Possible Kaiju (I've yet to decide if they're worth putting into the story or if they'll take up too much room.):
Barem
Dagahra
Ganimes
Gezora
Kamoebas
King Caesar
Matango
Oodako
Shockirus
Naturally, to keep in the spirit of 'Born of Rage', I'll be changing names as well as origins for most of them.
As has always been the case, I will inevitably finish this sequel. However, as 'Born of Rage' proved, there will doubtlessly be long pauses between chapters. As such, all work on any other stories I've been writing will be canceled until further notice.

Been waiting for this news for some time. Great to hear!

You can never go wrong with Oodako.

Well, I'm happy to know that people have been looking forward to it.

Ja, I was just thinking that a giant octopus can always be used for shock value. Nothing like an enormous cephalopod rising out of the deep and getting its suckers all over the beach side condos.
