Okay. Bad news first: I haven’t started working on anything new. Like at all. Not a single word. The finale hasn’t even begun to get written yet, or any other story for that matter.
Man, has it really been a year since my last blog? Geez, I am lurking hard.
Not a Brit, but I always found the idea of Bonfire Nite interesting, so I like to at least acknowledge it on the day of.
Anyway, not too much to really report on my end. Writing has become a bit staggered lately (due to lack of motivation as a result of recent reader turnout), but I am going to try to get SOMETHING more substantial done by the end of the year. I wrote Gaben & Filthy Frank vs. The Conversion Bureau, those are the last ones I want to write. I'm going to go back to writing pure bullshit dank stories that are dank, I just had to write a TBC parody that has never been done before. I kinda like writing stories that no one has done before and I had to check that off my list.

I wanted to write up a “Day 2” and “Day 3” blog post, but, frankly, I was too tired to do either. But I took notes, so CLEARLY THIS IS TOTALLY CROMULENT.
Day 2 started with me going to Taco Bell for breakfast and getting some box thing for $5. It was actually fairly decent – I don’t get why people complain about Taco Bell. Sure, it only has like five ingredients, but they’re decent ones.
As I approach the weekend, it's time to give a quick update on things. By this time next week, I'll be on the road headed back to Texas. I'm moving for the fourth time in four years (a fact that aggravates me more than almost anything else), which of course means I will not be available until I find a place to stay. To that end, I'm saving most of my current projects - FMP, Switcharootaloo, and Locals - to my Drive folders so I can at least study them while in the passenger seat.
Marks and Recreation I believe it was called. The whole time I kept thinking "man, Rumble really reminds me of another character" and then it dawned on me:
Both end up going to a camp they hate and either slack off or create mischief.
So I found a thread talking about FIMfiction, and they happen to have a list of stories they recommend as a place to start,
I can personally say The Best Night Ever, Hard Reset, Mendacity, and Arrow 18 are all great fics, so the list is promising to me. Consider checking a story you haven't read, especially if it's in a genre you favor.
Is that only half of it is actual mowing; the other half is finding creative solutions to obnoxious problems, such as low-hanging tree branches, dog poo, bugs, dog poo, intense daytime heat/humidity, dog poo, unrealistic deadlines, and dog poo.
On that note, I'm not wearing my shoes indoors until I've put them through HAZMAT-level decontamination procedures.
