As a dragon fanatic, I must say that this episode really comes close to what I expected. Best episode 10/10 needs more dragons.

Now that I'm going back to work again and have I presume for the most part recovered from Covid19, I in theory should get back into the work of trying to work on things writing wise, and I plan to do so.
What those writing things are however, is a bit different then originally planned.
So, hi, you haven't probably seen much from me, and that is primarily because I have been sucked in again by my primary fandom, Harry Potter. Which isn't surprising, considering that I help run a convention and teach a course on it and am the school's club's faculty advisor and have given talks on it for, oh, over a decade.
So for me, for the last few months, it has been mostly about:

This is Part 1 of a new series where I recreate old art.
By ‘old’, I mean art pieces I made a while ago and that I’m thoroughly unsatisfied with. We’ll start with this one.
Essentially, what I wanted to achieve here was a tribute to all four Hogwarts Houses - surprise, surprise, I’m a big Potter head - by showcasing their colors, mascots and corresponding elements.

After finally figuring things out (and having to completely revise my outline at least once) I've got the prologue and the first chapter of my own Harry Potter Crossover with MLP up. Story name is in the title tin and the tagged story section, and I am so happy to finally get this going.
Unless you spend all of your time reading fanfiction and never look at the science and technology news, you will have probably picked up that Artificial Intelligence is a hot topic right now. There is no better time to be a top computer science graduate with a PhD in machine learning techniques. Google, Facebook, and other tech giants will sign you up with a huge starting salary, in the expectation that real breakthroughs are imminent, and will lead to algorithms able to directly communicate

I got bored last night and got a bit curious. "What's the American Equivalent of Hogwarts in the world of Harry Potter?" So I quickly looked it up and Got my answer: Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
It's in Mount Greylock of Massachusetts, and was founded in 1627. Just like Hogwarts, there are 4 different houses a student can be assigned to. (The house name, what they mainly represent, and the type of student they favor)
