Do you ever wonder if the song Abracadabra by the Steve Miller Band exists in the world of Harry Potter?
What would wizards think of those lyrics?
I do nothing of merit. On occasion, I give the impression of being creative, but this is a deception. I am merely derivative in clever ways.

Meh... I am partial to this one
Unfortuately, I've never read Harry Potter.

The joke here is that, for Potterverse wizards, the words "avada kedavra" are the incantation for the killing curse, which is powered by hatred and instantly slays the victim. Thanks to its use in wizard wars and duels over time, non-magical humans picked it up as "abra cadabra" despite the secrecy surrounding magic, and, like in the real world, it became generic "magic words".
So just imagine when the Steve Miller Band sings "abracadabra, wanna reach out and grab ya", you knew that the words really meant "I WILL MURDER YOU WITH HATRED".
