New fic on the way! In its current state, it is completed, although there is still a lot of editing to be done. Hope to release it on Monday!
Also, this will probably be my last story on this account for the year, unless any other idea comes to mind.
In case you missed it, I just dropped a new story called Whose Side Are You On?, wherein Aria and Button discuss Captain America: Civil War and whose team they're supporting. What starts out as a friendly conversation soon becomes... More than that.
What have I have done recently for me to promote? Oh well, I'll just do something:
*I have now started Hard Reset -If you haven't read this yet, go do it.
*Motherly -A dark fic about (A Usurper) Chrysalis and her mother. In case you can't figure it out, this takes place before the return of NMM.
A nice, long preview of tomorrow morning's new chapter upload WHICH IS NOW LIVE. It has been edited down from the final version. Enjoy!
Mitchell opened a door, pointing his crossbow inside. He saw a pony holding a sidehoof, frantically speaking on his radio.
“Captain Raider of the Ruby Crown, this is the end.” Mitchell grabbed the pony, slamming him against a wall before throwing him into a chair.
“I... I know you... Canterlot.”
Mitchell stepped back, letting another changeling step up. “Your evil has claimed the lives of many creatures,” she said, punching him. “No longer.”
You wanted Fluttercap, so you're getting Fluttercap!
Also, I noticed an interest in Spike's dragon heritage. I have some ideas for that, but it will have to wait, as it will tie into the Ruby Flame arc I plan to eventually reincorporate.
We Don't Talk About Captain Thunderhoof is complete, and I wanted to share some thoughts about it. If you haven't read it yet—possibly because you like to wait until after stories are finished to read them—go check it out before reading this blog, as it assumes you're already familiar with everything and is riddled with unmarked spoilers.
Little orphan Pipsqueak was wandering alone in the woods when he ran into a bright red trolley in the middle of nowhere. Curious, he boarded it. It took him into an underground cavern, where an old but kindly man sat on a throne over a great rock. He was an ancient wizard-Older even than Starswirl the Bearded. And he had chosen the plucky young colt to wield an incredible power.
By speaking the wizard's name, the colt could transform into the Mightiest Mortal! And defend Equestria!
Captain Bron3y did a reading of my latest story, I Have This Friend, for his YouTube channel yesterday.
Thanks, Captain Bron3y!
Alrighty, as the title implies, I have a choice to make. I have about 7 different stories I want to write, while DiE is still going strong for, as it turns out, I've gotten some more time on my hands. For the next week, I'll be trying to find out which of the stories to write. And I would like you guys help choosing which one.
We are in a liminal state.
Captain America: Civil War is, to put it simply, the best film the MCU has given us so far. Picking up in the wake of the utter complete disaster that was Age of Ultron, Civil War works not only to restore the damage that Age of Ultron caused, but also follow up on the remaining plot threads from The Winter Soldier, while also laying groundwork for Phase Three of
