After a whole year since the Infinity Wars, Antman and Wasp, we get somewhat of a prequel story; one that brought about how the Avengers Initiative was... Inspired to say the least. In a period of over six years, we explore the origin story of Captain Marvel herself, her middle-mouse conflict between the Kree and the Skrulls (definitely means we're getting The Fantastic Four at some point, calling it out now), and, frankly enough, the most screentime of Nick Fury while he gains his way to being the top of Shield.
Seeing this in person, I wondered if they're actually going with a very serious Marvel Film this time, but when we reach Earth once more, it goes the usual routine of the Marvel Films.
Still, all in all, it was a Marvel of a Marvel Film. Go watch it. At least see one of, if not the, last appearances of Stan Lee (I'm imagining he might appear in End Game, but who knows?).
