Well I was hoping I would feel better by now, but I don’t. In fact, I took today off from work because I actually feel shittier than ever, but I said last week I was gonna talk about the story, and since I have all day to pick away at it, I will.
So, why did I set my story on Earth?
I can't write much right now, but I wanted to inform you that I'm back from a con, which is the reason why I didn't write anything last weekend and the days after it. Three days of convention, then sorting and placing the ponyloot I bought (which ripped a huge hole in my budget for next month already, but it was worth it).
Living: Most likely, unless you believe ghosts can press keys.
Chance of writing: High! For the most part.
Chance of publishing something readable by the end of the month: Slim. But plausible.
Chance of writing that Halloween fic? ... Oops. A bit late, aren't I? Well. Anything's possible!
Word count of The Mare Who Went Into the Cold reboot: 1405, ignoring previous chapters and separate chapter for outline. Will be writing more.
These aren't new, but they are positively inspiring.

I'm back from my break, and ready to get back to writing. I have also started a side-story to CartoonNerd12's The Tail of Robin Jack, but I had been planning to start that for a while now, so it sort-of-counts.
I’d presume, that for most of us, MLP is an outlet of escapism. It’s a way to get out of life and take solace in something more colorful, something that appears to have a better condition of life and other various things.
Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby,
It's been snowing all morning... the first really good snowfall that I've actually seen this year. Considering that on Christmas Eve kids were walking around my mother's village in t-shirts and shorts, it's sort of anti-climatic to say that New Year's Day looks more "holidayish" than Christmas Day did.
As the title says, I will be working on a one-shot over the next few days. That means that all work on A Cold Wind Blows' new chapter has come to a grinding haul. Now, before people get the idea that I am going to be abandoning the story, that is far from what is happening. I actually have over 3000 words completed for the newest chapter, and am quite eager to finish it and get it up for you all to read and enjoy. However, the idea that I had for this story was far too interesting a concept for

I walk in the woods on a cold winter night,
Wind blows in the trees, and light soon fades from sight,
Clutching my chest in closed arms my teeth chatter,
Night fallen, snow underneath, clothes tattered,
I look for a place to rest, but I know I can't,
The wind is harsh, and the forest silent.

And right now, Bon Bon is very cold.
I forget how I came across this story. Fic recs? Possibly. It was earlier this year, when someone close to me passed away, and I dove into pony to find some sort of comfort in the midst of things. Somwhere along the line, I found this fic, and, me being the odd, macabre duck I am, it helped.
It has a sad start, to be sure, but it felt right for the season. Why probably won't be clear until after the new year ;3.
