Woo hoo! I'm back from Europe! I can start updating again! In fact, I have a chapter 95% ready to go and a short side-story to go with it. Expect them by tuesday morning-ish.

Summer time here in New England, and I couldn't be gladder for it. Granted, I don't have a ton of free time, what with work and family commitments and that sort of thing...

But.

I'm writing again. Finally.

I'm not sure when I'll get anything out, but I'm doing a rewrite of an old story of mine, originally written for the October 2014 Writeoff, reworking and extending it for posting on Fimfiction, so I'll hopefully have that out sometime this summer.

I'll be revising the chapters for Black Fury, Red Logic now so don't be surprised if a chapter suddenly disappears. These updates will be sporadic as have another story I'm working on and I'll be moving soon, so my time will also be sporadic. With that said, my stories will still be on semi-hiatus since I don't know how long until my internet is cut. I still have plans for some updates I just don't know when I'll post them.

So, today I had to update my user page. I came across Just Before the Dawn by Drefsab and I have to say, it was fantastic. I already have a bit of a soft spot for good HiE fics (I can't help it, they're a bit of a guilty pleasure for me) and this hit me right in the feels.

Okay, i'm not going to beat around the bush for this one.

Rewriting HLW is intimidating. Why? Because ignorance is bliss.

I've grown up as an author so much since I first published that fic that with all I now know makes it much more difficult and tedious to rewrite this thing. I need to get rid of the adverbs, fix comma storms, rework certain paragraphs, keep characters in check, don't let my own fantasies run rampant and wreck the story, etc. It's a mess.

After the absolute hellhole this past semester has been, I'm happy to say that it's finally over. I won't say it was a waste of time, as it helped me figure out if I were to be a teacher, my patience would wear far too thin far too fast. I have decided to post a new chapter for The New Stallion. Yes a new chapter, this Thursday. I'm doing this mostly because due to me being occupied by other stories, this one has suffered. This story is one of my best. And I'm not sure if I can keep writing it This does not mean that I am canceling it. I've got something planned. Just keep an eye open for the next chapter, Thursday.
