So Speak X.3 has gone to the editors, and I am planning on posting it on Friday of this week. As a bonus, I also have a little story called "We Were Bunnies" that should be ready for human consumption on Saturday. It's... not FOE related, but was a cute little fluff piece that I had fun writing.

Have you ever wondered what it was like for an author when they first started writing fanfiction for something? Well... it sorta starts out with them writing random drafts and scenes, tying to understand and get into the character's personalities. Well... at least that's how it starts for me.
So as long-time fans (you fools) have undoubtedly been aware, my writing progress has been slipping as of late. Some of it has been due to the usual "boo hoo I have a 9-5 job", but frankly, a lot of it chalked up to self-esteem issues. I was full of self-doubts and insecurity, taking 10,000+ word drafts and trashing them because they didn't measure up to my own impossible standards. Despite not being on a library computer (thus having to input lots of stuff manually), I finished editing a capital offense, at least for now. One last read-through in a day or so and it's ready to go public. Yay. In the meantime, I have a request…

Good news? Well, I sure got a nice big pile of likes! We're not even twenty-four hours into this thing and it's hit 34 likes. That's pretty decent! Far short of the feature box but not bad. A Gentleman's Price didn't feature on launch either and this story outpaced that one which only managed 32 likes over 24 hours.

I'm quickly catching up to most recent prompts in the Twilestia Collab thread, so, in an effort to allow the buffer rebuild some, I am switching the update schedule from M-T-W-TH-F to M-W-F. This will be the new norm until I feel that we have enough of a steady to resume weekday daily posts.

So, after Thanksgiving Dinner, which in my family's traditional fashion was held in the early afternoon (I say family, but it was just my mother and me), I got home and promptly passed out for seven hours. Once awake, I decided to try and do some writing. That's what I want to talk about after the jump, if you'll be so kind as to follow...
Well... what an eventful week I have had. Firstly I would like to apologise to all the people who found this on FIMFiction, the amazing people who have been waiting for me to publish stuff where... I just haven't been able to do anything. Once again, university on top of being a part of Alicon has just made my life incredibly busy and it's going to be like that for a while. Please bear with me and come November, I will be dropping chapters like they're hot!
The whole chapter and some of the plans for the rest of this little introduction into Crystal Prep will be super important for Rainbow and Rarity.
I don't often use Rarity. I think its because a previous friend used to tell me that I was super good at writing her because I acted almost exactly like her.
There's a lot of second person, HiE bullshit clop in the feature box these days. The people need me. And yet I choose to work on getting my original novel ready to submit to agents.
