So, today I come to you with a project that I've been dying to try writing; The Nameless Queen (password: 2632)
This will be a comment driven story where you control the actions of a young Changeling Queen. You must help her take care of her hive while managing various resources like;
So, ScarletWeather, my future wife, is amazing. You all should know this.
For starters, she's my brain. If there has been a coherent arc in any of my stories, a well-crafted bit of characterization, an evil twist, welp, it was probably midwifed if not hatched entirely by Scarlet.
I really do get my best writing done when I have no earthly business being awake. I combined two chapters into one, hopefully making a much more satisfying first chapter. I was looking through my follows list and, honestly, I’m not the least bit surprised that a good portion of the writers I follow have my Siren Babe, Adagio Dazzle, as their profile icon. Not the least bit surprised.

This minific is for Fallout: New Vegas and specifically borrows from the New Vegas Bounties mod. It was written as though they are human, but you could really just change some words and boom, pony.
The Courier swaggered into Randall's office like she'd done so many times before, brushing the New Vegas dust from her shoulder.

So today a year ago, an artist by the name of Zarnoxs took on a suggestion of mine to have Sunset Shimmer in the famous scene of The Little Mermaid of Ariel seeing her feet for the first time 🦶

I did that thing. And I plan on going on, before you ask, because the point of doing this is keeping an incremental effort for a year. Hell, I am not even writing this blog entry for the sole follower of it, but for my future self and any future spelunkers that may descend into the depths of the internet archives and say "Hey, let's read this crud and see how many neurones die!". This is a warning, Possible Future Reader.
I've got to say that today's episode, "Every Little Thing She Does," struck a familiar note at one point: Pinky in the kitchen under Starlight's version of the "Imperius" curse. It was amazingly close to a scene in Words Failed Her where Pinky was madly baking in a magic-induced trance—except Twilight, at least, had the presence of mind to shut off the gas to the oven before she left in my story.
So, I find myself laying awake tonight with a slight case of insomnia... Needless to say, I have decided to take a moment and look back at what I have written already... Or more specifically, what led me to make Scootaloo's parents the way they are in Rebuilding a Crusade.
I went back and forth several times about whether I should put a book in the BronyCon bookstore, and what that book should be. But as of yesterday, I have an answer... and a very small problem. But it's a problem where we can both benefit from a solution.

Working on the second chapter of Her Majesty's Hidden Swords, not much left to go before I complete it. After that I'll keep plugging away at it until FiM ends, because I've got something real to show y'all.
About 10 years ago I made an account here under the name "John Bon Pony". I wrote a story with no intention of having it blow up, just for the hell of the thing. The internet had other ideas. The story exploded and for a while I was one of the top rated authors on the site. But with the popularity also came anxiety. I suddenly felt every chapter had to be better than the last, which led me to rush more than a few just to get something out. And nothing I wrote afterwards ever measured up. I felt

And I have to wonder...
Obviously, most of that 36 pages worth of My Little Pony Dick Sunset is already out, but several of them are fresh. At least to you guys. Not to me. I've been sitting on them for a long time and they are starting to smell. I'll try to get them aired out. Eventually.
