In celebration of the 300th like, making it easily my most popular story to date, the epilogue goes live on Thursday morning.
Welp, after spending over a year on this insane cuckolding story, it seems that we reached the final stretch. All that I have left to write is the Epilogue chapter, which will help to close any open questions and verify what's to come of our twisted truple. I already have a couple ideas confirmed for this chapter; one of which being Double R. Forrest's suggestion to make Shining look significant scrawnier and feminine compared to Sombra in the future timeline (similar to their appearances in
*CELEBRATORY STREAMERS* Wanderlost is complete! The story is done, resolved, and wrapped up. I'm done with it now - I will not be returning to the world. (At least, I have no plans to.) It was a great experience, and I know I already said this enough in the author's notes, but thank you all for staying along with it this whole time. Seriously, thank you.
This quote in the title, which had been said in Doctor Who in the last episode of 10th Doctor run, was what first came to my mind after watching the last episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Obviously, partially because the show ended with a song, but mostly because I believe that it sums up pretty much how most of us here feel about Generation 4.

Sorry for the long wait but the final chapter of The Northern Winds, which I have been putting aside for all these years is finally complete. I told you I kept my promises. All that's left is an epilogue, which I'm not planning to draw out much longer, and then I will have to build up some mental motivation to finish the entire series. Hopefully the next book turns out just as good if not better. Thanks for all the support!
I spent tonight mostly just combing through and updating story plans and such for Pony-Me to factor in current events, new characters, and to set up a working backstory, lore, and conflict for Part 3.
The next chapter will be a short epilogue to Part 2 that gives additional insight to Equestria, but doesn't end the story. Think of it as an epilogue to the ongoing conflict throughout Part 2, rather than one for the entire story.
Well everyone, we made it to the end of Act I. I'm genuinely curious as to what everyone thinks of the story so far.
The Dead by Sunset series has become a lot nearer and dearer to my heart than I expected, and I fully expect it to become one of my longest fics alongside Featherfall. I'm sure there are a lot of readers interested in seeing how all of the drama that's been built up here plays out, and I wanted to show a little of my thought processes that brought much of this story about.
Trying to get a grasp on a new story has been very troubling. The concept I had in mind in January, then turned into something else a few months later...and has now become a new idea for a second epilogue.
This second epilogue I feel, is the proper direction to move into. Right now, the concept is very loose, but I feel it can be another fun little story focusing on our huge couple after some time has passed.
The current hope is to keep it at least 4,000 words long.
