The End of an Arc · 6:21pm Feb 11th, 2019
We finally did it! 35 chapters and two years later, it finally happened. This should clear up what the last few chapters have been about and in a couple of weeks, we'll get his side of all this and the big day. We're so close to the finish, I'm honestly kind of excited. I think adding Star Overhead to my plate and forcing me into a real schedule has gotten me to sit down and write more consistently. I like it.
Speaking of, the next chapter of that will either release next Monday or Thursday this week. I mean, this week's Super chapter was almost 1/6th the word count of the last 'chapter' (Death and Destruction - Dream Come True are all one chapter in my docs), but when I'm not busy writing 30,000 words to progress the story, I can actually write pretty quick. There's more than one 8000+ word chapter of this story that was written in one day for better or for worse, and Ride on Shooting Star was a little over 8000 words and written over a few days. As long as I keep up pace, Star overhead is likely to finish before Super does, but it should help me scratch an itch to do something else while I truck along the big story.
If you haven't seen it yet, Star Overhead recently got the cover done, and I'm pretty proud of that. As Super reaches its conclusion, I'll be working on a new cover for it that I've already got drafted. It looks a bit like a JRPG cover, but let's be honest here, Super itself is a shonen themed seinen story about a girl with super powers in a world of super powers. It is the MLP anime I always wanted to write and I'll be damned if it doesn't have an anime poster for a cover.
The new art breathed some new life back into my creative drive and that cover is going to be my next big project. Progress happened, and I think it's doing a lot of good for me.
Anyways, that's all from me. New Star Overhead chapter... sometime within this or next week, and new Super chapter by the 25th.
