In my last blog post, I wrote that people in the SCA have the super-power of being able to “study people from a distant time and place and try to understand them.”
I spoke too soon.
So, here I am, with a tiny platform and someone who's hardly made themselves that known at all for about the year I've had an account on this website. As people are aware, Hogwarts Legacy is a hot button topic. I'm a transwoman so this puts me right into the heart of the issue. For several years I've felt like I have little to no place in the transgender community because quite frankly, they have been far left and I don't like extremisms.
Warning, I get a little emotional here. Kind of, yeah, a vent piece, some of which I might incorporate into my next stories, but, I’m in a mood, and not sure what better/else to do (that I feel like it)
So it's been *checks watch* forever and a half eons since I last posted. If you're keeping up with my favorite's folder, then you know I'm still online a lot, but I've been kind of quiet and focused on other things. Some of you PM'd me asking what I had been up to, and I figured the rest of you might want to know.
Well as I write about Cozy learning the error of her ways, it occurs to me that there's definitely more than one mirror here. The truly scary thing is, that when Cozy asked these difficult questions in my story, Trixie almost immediately had an answer in my head. It's almost like I already knew how to deal with my problems and just wouldn't admit it to myself? We're happy to announce that the sequel to Sparkle is mostly written! The sequel's title is Sun! It's a slightly smaller story than Sparkle, that covers the time period around the Grand Galloping Gala, Celestia's letter, and Twilight's meeting with her parents.
This time around, we'll be releasing the chapters as they're finished and edited, because waiting until the whole thing is done just takes too darn long!

So some of the allegories I've been using in my story might come into question? So I'm going to talk about the three villain models I'm using to illustrate my points. It is a day to memorialize, honor, and pay our respects to transgender people whose lives have been taken away as a result of transphobia/anti-trans violence.
Our hearts go out to them. We hope that in the future, the world becomes more accepting and welcoming towards trans people, as well as the entire LGBTQ+ community.
Stop spreading hate and start giving love. End the anti-trans violence, stigma, and discrimination.

It's been a while since I uploaded a blog, but after uploading Firebird parts 1 & 2, I decided it was a good time to explain a little more about my life and my situation, which hopefully elucidates as to why my chapters take so long to write and upload.
So, since the 9th of November, I've been happily married for FIVE years, quite the milestone.
