All right; all done with finals -- which means I can get back to focusing on other stuff! Of course, that includes What Lies Within. I've already made some progress on the next chapter and I have some stuff planned out (though it's probably going to change; it always does) so I can just focus on actually putting (figurative) pen to (figurative) paper!
A scene from Fleur-de-Lis's backstory in my headcanon, the very first scene in fact and a bit of a grisly one. Probably worth putting on the Tearjerker Page. Birthing problems and her bizarre condition developing in the womb led to both Fleur and her mother lucky to survive the day.
I have done this as a new story because, while it is related to Green, being in the same universe and continuity, it's not featuring any of my primary couples that I normally focus on.

It's been nearly a year since A Mare to Soar For was released. There hasn't been an update since February. Last thing I said about it is that I wanted to re-write it, and that is still true - and I'm hoping to get it out of the door before its first anniversary.
After struggling for two weeks with couplets, the The Guard of a Different Stripe is finally out. This is the result of threatening to write a story in Zecora's first-person perspective on Discord when folks complained about how difficult her dialogue is. You know what? It very much is! Well, I drew my interpretation of young Fancy Pants and quite enjoyed it so here, on the other side of the spectrum is Fleur de Lis as a filly with her parents. As you see, her height and weight have been mostly consistent throughout her life and while that isn't the whole reason she is the way she is, it did contribute to that.
