Too Tall, Too Thin

A scene from Fleur-de-Lis's backstory in my headcanon, the very first scene in fact and a bit of a grisly one.
Probably worth putting on the Tearjerker Page.

Birthing problems and her bizarre condition developing in the womb led to both Fleur and her mother lucky to survive the day.
It would take a full night before their recovery could be made certain and a very long night it was.
Bourbon Blend has never forgotten.
