This was a pretty sweet episode. Nothing spectacular, just enjoyable. Nothing much else to be said, but as the new writers grow, we might get something as interesting as it is sweet. Unto the thoughts~

Now that I've probably thoroughly alienated everyone by airing legitimate grievances with the show but failing to emphasize that I really do still like it, and that I think Season 5 has really helped fix some of the issues with it, it's time to talk about Season 6 thus far
That's right, folks, after today there will be no more Monday Review blogs. No, I'm not quitting the reviews, I'm just moving them to Thursdays. Why Thursdays? Because they're my easiest workday of the week and thus make the perfect day to do these things, plus it spreads out my blogs through the week so my activity seems more... err... active? And yes, that does mean we'll be seeing two review blogs this week. Nifty, huh?
We've got a mixed bag today. Let's get started, shall we?
So here is the thing about Dr. Who. It's bigger on the inside. You look at it right from the outset and go, 'Huh, there's only ten series so far. Let's try this thing out.'
(This is an especially easy mistake to make if you, like me, are American and can't easily access Classic Doctor Who.)
I made a response to this thread about assigning each of the HuMane 7 a traditional element (fire, water, earth, blah blah blah). I like adding grounded logic and scientific concepts to explain esoteric phenomena. I see a lot of uninspired or poorly thought-out story concepts so, rather than just complain, here’s an idea I’m sharing for anyone to use, if you like. I’m not pretending
So here is a thing; I am working on a longer story arc. A much, much longer story arc. If you've read my previous posts, you already knew that. However, I think I've finally gotten the first series fleshed out. There will be twelve stories in the present storyline, with a trio of sort-of bonus storylines, one detailing the adventures of a past Doctor in Equestria, one as a side plot that didn't fit in neatly anywhere else, and one as a nice, light slice-of-life break from the adventure and
So,
As I'm sure some of you already know
The sequel to Benefits is actually Already Out
So if you haven't already, go read it:: The Fire Is So Delightful
And if you have already read it, then give it a second read
You'll likely get more out of it now that you have the full context
And my next story Will be set after it, chronologically
Hi guys. I'm bored at work.
I've decided to start a new project whereby I print out and periodically add pictures of Nic Cage to my cubicle. My boss is literally on the other side of this wall, and I want to start an experiment where I see how long it takes me to get fired due to Nic Cage (and possibly using fimfic at work).
I am looking for more Nic Cage.
Back in December, when I first started this set of reviews, I wrote:
It is very easy to try and write reviews of a lot of short stories. It lets you get through large numbers of works in a short period of time… but it also means you’re avoiding many of the longer works, many of which I added to my Read It Later list because they were supposed to be quite good. What is the point of having such stories on your list if you are always going to put off reading them?
Hello my mostly straight, mostly male audience.
That’s not a callout. That’s not a condemnation. Hell, until recently, I identified as both - and I could never hate myself, could I?
This blog post contains spoilers for the Doctor Who 2017 Christmas Special, Twice Upon a Time. If you haven't seen it yet, and you don't want spoilers, don't read this post.
Time to get started on the backlog that’s accrued over the course of my Chapter 4 review. Given the side comics coming down the pike, I have mostly G5 planned until mid-September. But first, it’s time to see what the shorts have been doing.
Might contain spelling errors even tough I tried to fix a few. Yes i made another one-this episode seemed to have some meat to it even if there wasn't a ton of super-lore I got world building. Yay!

Good morning. This is, from my point of view, a comedy blog. From the point of view of my family and loved ones, it's a horror story.
I'm so fucking back, baby. Hi, all. Did you miss me? I know I did.
Hey, so once again there was no New Chapter this week...
But It's almost here!
The next installment in the Friends With Benefits continuity will be called:: Pull Me Closer
And I'll be releasing the first Two chapters Both! This Friday
So get hype, there's fun content on the way
And one last reminder, if the last story you read was Benefits, then you're not caught up
