No that isn't a joke. You are as surprised as me. Blame insomnia. Weirdly this chapter had a lot more jokes in it than I originally expected.
It's 10,000ish words. Don't ask me how that happened.
And no I didn't just have the Mane 6 go in and fix the problem immediately. That'd be ridiculous even in 10,000 words. But I do have major references to the MLP movie which I've wanted to really add in for a while. And well let's say anti-magic isn't a well known thing in Equestria.
(Art by whydomenhavenipples).
You heard right, I finished the chapter. Well, I finished the first half of a two part update, since you guys voted for it to be that way. All that needs to be done now is editing. Both of my editors are away on Discord right now, so they are probably sleeping. Once they have finished looking over this chapter, I'll publish it for all to see.
Hey guys, nothing much happening, just wanted to give an update on things.
I've been kinda tied up with some private matters, but I am trying to write a little everyday , but alas I have not gotten as far as I would have wanted by now.
BUT!
I am working on it, and some of the other stories when I have some time. Just going to take a little more time. In the meantime, here is some relaxing waiting music.
At 1100 words in total, this chapter's being slow with me. But its coming out whenever.
What doesn't help is that I've been sick for the last few days- probably ate something that really didn't agree with me- unluckily that seems to be the only way I actually get sick these days which is either a blessing or a curse.
Part 65 - Channel Change is the first of a two-part grand finale that I originally wrote as one large chapter, but decided that 30k words was a little much for a single chapter, even an ending one. Aside from the usual edits and cleanup, smoothing things out and putting in some additional detail and dialog, there is one major update to the chapter.
Hello, yes, hey.
My first story on this account is being worked on. I'm still writing the first chapter at about 2k+ words, but don't expect a ton of chapters; this story will be somewhat of medium length, I doubt it will cross 15k words.
Get a teaser after the break!
Look, I know you missed me, I know it's been awhile, but I really gotta talk about this dank audiobook project first, okay? But for the impatient, the Chapter 12 draft has finally been sent to my editors.
To begin with, I'd like to make a brief correction. In my prior blog post, I said that I could probably publish one chapter of Lost Crusades or two of Growing Pains every week. As it turns out, no I can't. I'm about midway through the next chapter of LC at the moment, but there is no way I'll be able to have it done by the end of the week. So, sorry about that. Have a blog post!
Here are some things I've been doing instead of writing the next chapter:
Sorry for the long wait but the final chapter of The Northern Winds, which I have been putting aside for all these years is finally complete. I told you I kept my promises. All that's left is an epilogue, which I'm not planning to draw out much longer, and then I will have to build up some mental motivation to finish the entire series. Hopefully the next book turns out just as good if not better. Thanks for all the support!
Didn't get nearly as much written as I wanted to last night. I've got about an hour that I'll be writing tonight. Hopefully I can get a large chunk of it knocked out.
I am so fucking excited to finally being able to share this with you guys!
It's been something me and Hoodwinked MCShelster have been working with for some time, and I am insanely proud of how it turned out.
So, ladies and gentlecolts alike, I would like to give you, THE NEW ROYAL GUARD!!
Yep, that's right folks, today is a double chapter simply because I read the two mostly in a row and I didn't want to to split them in two. So, chapter 17 is essentially a big pile of nothing happening unfortunately and chapter 18 is... well, it's something alright.
Let us start.
At long last, the GL:A update you've been waiting for is here! And to celebrate, I've also gone ahead and published The Barmare, which features a character from the new chapter of GL:A. Enjoy!
Hey all, Takarashi282 here! Chapter VI of Ballad of the Dawn is now available!
(I promise that this is the last filler-esque chapter, just needed to give Trixie some character development!)
Read it here!
That’s right, Bad Dragon Clop Collaboration is still well alive and kicking. The latest chapter is from the talented author:
EclipseFairy
Since I know you just want to dive in and read this new contribution, I present to you:
Dinky’s head hurt.
She didn’t want to rub the side of it. She was afraid what might happen.
Her fetlock had some sort of tube attached to it by a plaster.
It worried her that it might be inside her. It worried her more that she couldn’t feel it.
Her throat was dry.
Her muzzle felt blocked.
Many concerns and uneases swirled round her mind but the first and foremost was the greatest worry.
Where was her mummy?
The fifth chapter of Project Horizons is upon us and with it, more confirmation of the utter "Indiana Jones"-like style of adventure and some welcomed evolutions of character relationships. However, I have to say, I am not quite sure if I dig the idea of having one brain for three people. Let us go and have some fun.
Sorry for the short gap in chapter posting, I was busy writing the unexpected hit that was “You’re Probably Wondering Why I’m Wearing a Maid’s Dress...” which wound up pushing back the rest of my writing. That’s not really the worst thing imaginable though, because it gave me some more time to work on today’s chapter. I’m quite happy with it and I hope you all enjoy it as well, because it sets up the next leg of the story and I have some fun moments coming up that I’m excited to share with you
