When a freak science experiment at Twilight's library zaps Rainbow Dash with temporary aphasia, it's up to Applejack to get her a cure.

Applejack stumbles upon Rarity late one night inside Twilight Sparkle's castle.

Applejack has had it up to here with Rainbow Dash's sleepflying. Rarity attempts to lend a hoof.

After a surprising blizzard, Applejack awakes to a certain white unicorn calling her out the door. It's all for fun, right? So why can't Applejack stop blushing?

Rarity, being the element of generosity, is a pony one would expect to except and support every decision her friends make. One day there is a shocking a revelation among all of her friends that puts that to the test however. It is then, after agreeing to meet with Twilight to discuss the matter, that she comes to question what it really is that defines her, and realises what she must sacrifice for her friend's happiness.

Everyone's invited for a sleepover at Twilight's house. At 2 am, everyone is fast asleep - except for Applejack. She decides to grab a midnight snack, and a tired yet energetic Rarity joins in. The two cook some food together, and in the meantime, find some wine. Hilarity ensues.

If you were to ask any random pony off the street where Applejack would probably be in 20 years, they might respond that she would have settled down with a nice stallion, had children, and continued running the business. And Applejack would probably agree that was quite likely.

But, what we think will happen, is almost never what will happen. And the things we assume about ourselves, and our futures, are almost never accurate. Such is the case with Applejack.

It all started at a holiday party in the last week of December, when a prank played by Rainbow Dash awakened some strange feelings in Applejack, concerning a certain beautiful pony with a purple mane.

As much fun as her friends can be, Rarity definitely regrets this slumber party. If only she could go to sleep. Unfortunately for her, one earth pony may not give her that option.
