Years have passed, Rarity is married and living in Canterlot, and Spike travels the world with Princess Twilight Sparkle. Yet, events conspire to bring old friends back together. Some stories are simple, and some wish desperately that they were.

A RarityxSpike Fanfic.

When Twilight leaves on a diplomatic mission for the Princesses. She trusts the care of the library to the hands of Spike and Rarity. Which will get to them first: the patrons they try to serve or the romantic tension between the two of them...

This is based upon a picture by Pia-Sama, and with her permission, I was able to craft a story out of it. I also based this tale upon my own personal experience as a Librarian.

Meet Lavender, a rare offspring brought into the world by a loving dragon and a beautiful pony. She is told constantly by her parents that she is a beautiful gift of nature, but she is reminded everyday about just how different she is from the rest of the world. She is going to learn very rapidly how cruel and unforgiving the world can be for anything different from them.

Follow the journey of Spike, Rarity, and their offspring Lavender from birth to adulthood as they try to survive prejudice, natural impulses, and even their relationship between each other.

Someone actually thought this fic was worthy to be in the Twilight Library. Well... if you say so.

Spike is now a teenage dragon, and his love for certain white unicorn is stronger than ever, while she's not completely aware of her feelings, and has to fight to keep her little sister in line before a new disaster explodes. Although generosity may help keeping greed away, could also become a two-edged sword, and Twilight is worried about Ponyville being destroyed again as it happened three years ago.

Spike orders a How-To guide book to win Rarity's heart. Will Spike be able to follow all the steps like a true gentlecolt? Will any of the steps actually work? And just what is Rarity looking for in her friendship with Spike, anyway?

Spike decides to take a leaf from Big Mac's book by speaking as little as possible to see if that will finally spark Rarity's interest in him and a relationship

Yes this is Sparity; No, I'm not sure it will be clop... This is full pony, no anthro or humanized... This could be a one shot, or I could add several chapters depending on the feedback I receive.... Constructive criticism and advice strongly appreciated, and I hope that this turns out well...
Also, if I do add clop it will only be a single chapter, and that chapter will not be necessary to read to understand the rest of the story... kinda like a deleted scene I guess... -shrug- Anyway if you do feel the obligation to downvote, please at least read it first and leave a legitimate response as to why; so I can focus on improving this, it is my first fic after all... (Also, if I somehow manage to attract the attention of an artist, I would LOVE to have some artwork made for the cover. and you would get full credit for the art obviously.. that is all, please commence reading!)

Barb has just turned eighteen and decides that she has waited long enough to finally tell Elusive how she feels about him; the only problem is she doesn’t know how to do it.

Wanting the moment to be perfect, she seeks help from Dusk Shine. The only pony, which she’s aware of, who knows about her crush and the two come up a plan to ensure the day goes off without a hitch, Barb will spend the day with Elusive before finally confessing to him at her party at the end of the day.
