We all think of the Changelings as evil creatures whose soul purpose in this world is to seek out love and drink it dry.

But what if this wasn't the case?
What if the Changelings were just like you and I?

What follows is an interview of a captured Changeling that, until now, has been classified by the government of Equestria.

Little 3 minute story of stuff.
Maybe a small exploration of head canon? I don't know.

Dragged all the way from the Empire by the Crystal Couple, and for what? A wedding! I don't want to watch two ponies get hitched, what did I do to deserve this? I don't want to see all the pomp and circumstance, there's no need for it. I especially don't want all those ponies staring at me!

Whorlygig isn't the most social of changelings, mostly because he's the only one in the entirety of the Crystal Empire. How do Shining Armor and Cadance turn him into a 'social butterfly'? Take him to a wedding in Ponyville, of course!

Most of us are shunned from their society, but there are a few stars in the night. Cranky Doodle Donkey is one of them. He saved my life, and now I wanted to support him at his happiest. Too bad that his wedding was in the center of ponyville.

Meet Pat the changeling. He's in Ponyville on an exchange programme to further pony-changeling relationships.

Based on the small changeling that appeared briefly in Slice of Life.

Spike has always considered Ponyville his home, and has always held Rarity a special place in his heart. That is, until a group of dragons showed up after years of looking for him. After meeting his real family and hearing why he was brought into the ponies' care, he starts to rethink his old thoughts.

Now he only has a week to make a decision: either stay with the ponies who loved and cared for him most of his life, or go with the dragons and finally be with his real family. The decision would have been all so clear...

...if there wasn't another factor in the equation.

When Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash came to Griffonstone, they had an immediate yet profound impact on the city. The normally stoic and introverted griffons are now, on the whole, a lot more open and amiable. Not all of them, however, are happy that the ponies, who had only been there for a few hours, could change their lives so quickly, and with such little effort on their part.

One griffon learns (through the keen-yet-jaded eyes of their race) how to interpret "the magic of friendship" in their own, unique way.

Note: This is just a short vignette based off of the episode “The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone,” so expect spoilers. Also, as this is my first story on the site (or any site, for that matter), it's partially being posted to gauge feedback, so criticism is always welcome.

Okay, so this is Griffonstone. Yeah, I know what it looks like. Shut up. You dweebs couldn't do any better. Anyway, I'm the griffon who's gonna make it like the big deal it used to be.

The griffin lands are not quite peaceful as say Equestria. Though crime is still present in the pony society, it is very much at a minimum. Mercenaries, freelance body guards, and even contract killers are very much present in griffin society. The griffins are by no means uncivilized, but you shouldn't trust one with noble blood, or you may find yourself dead.

A griffin mercenary, working with his sister, receives a summons by one of two High Lords of Austrahem. One of six provinces of the loosely united griffin lands, each controlled by a single king. Then from his grand hall, the High King resides to provide some sort of unity to the six provinces.

Seeing an opportunity to expand their horizons, they meet with him. Meanwhile a human, displaced by powers unknown, is stuck in the aether separating dimenisons.

A Diamond Dog king, feeling bold after gathering an army of 100,000 dogs, decides the best way to flex his new muscles would be to invade Equestria for past perceived slights. As such, he sends a letter to Princess Celestia with a declaration of war.

It goes about as well as you'd expect.

If she had been a good little filly, she would have listened to her mommy and daddy and her teacher and the esteemed mayor of Ponyville. If She had been a good little filly she would have stayed indoors, hiding under her bed as she waited for the Royal Guard and the Princesses to arrive and deal with the dragon. If she had been a good little filly, the kind of child that always got what she wanted for Hearth's Warming, she would not be on the trail leading up the mountain, to where the dragon now rested.

Glitter Belle is not a good little filly. She is a curious one, whose curiosity has brought her face to face with a very, very large dragon. Let's hope it's in the mood to talk.
