Rarity Writes is a monthly article featured in the Hooves and Hemlines magazine, and Rarity couldn't be prouder. After all, if there was one thing she could talk about, it was fashion, right? And free publicity is always great.

Unfortunately, it didn't take long for her to run out of ideas. Luckily for her, she finds some interesting subject material in her best friend's relationship.

It's Hearts and Hooves Day in Ponyville. And Twilight Sparkle is on a mission to find out as much as she can about the subject of Love. She finds herself in Sugarcube Corner, observing the other patrons, and talking to Mr. and Mrs. Cake, in a effort to answer the most important question of her life: What is Love?

Pinkie Pie would never pull a prank on Fluttershy, at least not until Fluttershy asks her to! Now she has to come up with a special prank just for Fluttershy without ruining their friendship. The only problem is, she has her eyes set a little bit higher than just

~John de Lancie, Bronycon 2015, in response to someone asking him to comment on Celestia and Discord's relationship.

Celestia and Discord--tense acquaintances, close friends, or something more? It seems like they must spend some time together off screen to have developed any relationship at all. But of course Celestia only has nights free, and Discord, no matter when he hangs out with somepony, always has to make things interesting with his chaotic ways. And so we end up with some 'interesting nights' for the sun princess and the master of chaos...all alone...in Celestia's room...frequently.

Just what could they be doing in there?

(Yes, John de Lancie said a sentence, and I wrote a ten thousand word story about it. I knew something like this would happen if I went to his two panels at Bronycon, but I did it anyway, and I have no regrets! )

This is a hearth's warming story about friends you've yet to meet. It is a story about love, hope, and the idea that not everything has a price that can be paid, or a lesson that can't be learned. I hope you enjoy it.

Rainbow Dash has become quite the mare since joining the 'Bolts. Brave, loyal, charming, and the fastest flier in all of Equestria to boot, and Spitfire would be lying if she said she didn't admire that and didn't find that more a little attractive.

Not that she has a crush or anything.

So after a good night out on the town, Spitfire decides to make an offer to Rainbow Dash to do something special. It's an offer Dash can't really refuse.

Unfortunately there are a couple factors Spitfire didn't account for.

A story of sex, friendship, small talk, and aggressive awkwardness.
