"Live for the Future" is a narrative recounting Twilight's slow fall into love with Trixie, who is offered a second chance when Twilight spots her in Canterlot and is informed that she's homeless and has nothing left. Vignettes of Trixie's depressing past are interwoven within the story as well.

After his defeat at the hooves of the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony the stony figure of Discord was dragged far, far, far out of Ponyville where the good ponies could eventually forget the name of their tormentor...

...again.

But, it seems, as the months have passed some creature in Ponyville has not been able to put aside what had happened. Now, that creature approaches, and it seems as though he'd like a word with the immortal spirit of chaos...

A few months after Discord's second banishment, Twilight stumbles across a magical stone and a broken mare during the most beautiful meteor shower in centuries. What can these two possible have in common? After the losing one of their own, if the elements of harmony are going to save Equestria, and themselves; they must mend their shattered hearts with what almost broke them in the beginning.

Sidenote: I appreciate the criticism I received prior to writing this from the people who said that it "couldn't be done", and that "Rarity and Spike being together just won't work out". If it weren't for you guys, I would never had been inspired to prove you wrong by creating this. Thanks! :D

The Great and Powerful Trixie used to be just a tiny filly, but that doesn't mean her ego was small too. Overly confident in her magical abilities even at young age, Trixie goes to take the entrance exam at Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. She should be a shoo-in right?

In this nihilistic twilight, she clings onto the last of her creative sanity, trying to pierce through the mysterium that is the new dressmaker's identity. A story that deals with what it is to be and, subsequently, what it is to not be in the world of creativity.

Pinkie Pie is being tormented by horrific nightmares. Unable to deal with it by herself anymore she seeks out Twilight's help, but will it have been the best decision when she finds herself alone in an abandoned, fog filled Ponyville?
