When Discord breaks free form his stone prison he seeks revenge upon the elements. Twilight, now trapped on a crazy and barbaric alien world, must find a way home in time to save her friends and Equestria.

If only that task were as simple as it sounds…

Twilight and Rarity are sent to identify a mysterious artifact found in the Crystal Mountains. The journey is long, and while traveling in the breathtakingly beautiful scenery of the North, Twilight starts to discover entirely new feelings towards her friend.

But their mission is not sugar and spice, for under the Northern skies, something ancient has awoken.

It's the last days before Cadences wedding, a time that should be completely free from trouble,something which does not apply to Luna. This is the story of Phobos, the third son of Bellic the Black, the fourth son of Serena the White, and the 12th seer of the alicorns - a stallion without the serenity to accept the things he could not change, the courage to change the things he could, or the wisdom to know the difference - born just a few short decades before the rise of Discord, the fall of Luna, the disappearance of the Imperium Vitreus, and the destruction of all his kind - and it is a story he wrote himself.
