In the heat of the moment, some ponies have a habit of letting things out. Sometimes they are minor things that most just shrug off and forget about in a matter of milliseconds. Sometimes they are things that, once revealed, shake the very foundation of their existence.

Rarity's latest revelation falls into the latter.

Every week or so, Rarity gathers all of her friends for a little get-together at her boutique. Or at a cafe. Or in Sugarcube Corner. Anywhere that serves tea or tea can be brought in.

And every time, as soon as their conversation steers towards that most intimate of topics, Rainbow Dash falls silent.

Rainbow Dash is specially invited to become the youngest member of the Wonderbolts, and so she moves to Cloudsdale, leaving Ponyville behind. But she stays in contact with her friends through letters. Time passes, but the letters remain a constant. One-shot.

Fluttershy moonlights as a masked pianist at a local nightclub to pay a few extra vet bills. Known only to the patrons as the beautiful and mysterious "Piano Mare", they lavish her with love and coin each time she comes. But one night Big Macintosh and Rainbow Dash are in the club at the bar, and they spot her. Will they see through the flimsy ribbon mask? While Fluttershy is out doing her daily business, a sudden storm catches her off guard, leaving her at the mercy of a strong air current. With the situation of a weak flyer in the middle of a violent storm with no witnesses in sight, only one thing happens - it leaves her stranded in a deep ravine with only the howling of the wind and her aching body for company.

While the rain pours, she decides to pass the time, and instead begins to ponder her relationship with her blue pegasus companion.

She can only wonder if she'll even have a future with Rainbow Dash if it doesn't look like help is on the way at all.

Rainbow Dash brings along a few bottles of cider when she's meeting Fluttershy to practice and show off her new tricks. Apparently the cider has been sitting in the sun for a bit too long and provokes a strange change in Fluttershy's behavior. After a sudden revelation, both pegasi need to get their thoughts and hearts to agree, or their friendship is at risk.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders ask Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy about what happened just after the events of the Cutie Mark Chronicles; specifically, what happened to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash immediately after the race. Reluctantly, Dash and Fluttershy delve into a tale. A tale of a young Fluttershy's amazement at the world she had landed upon, and a filly Dash's desperate quest to save her from that most evil of places: THE GROUND.

Twilight and friends learn that prolonged exposure to the power of Pinkie Pie can cause some rather interesting side effects. An unbearably silly idea that wouldn't go away until I wrote it down.

When Fluttershy confides her love for Rainbow Dash, all does not go smoothly when her friends try to help, and it seems Fluttershy isn't the only pony keeping a secret.
