While Fluttershy is out doing her daily business, a sudden storm catches her off guard, leaving her at the mercy of a strong air current. With the situation of a weak flyer in the middle of a violent storm with no witnesses in sight, only one thing happens - it leaves her stranded in a deep ravine with only the howling of the wind and her aching body for company.
While the rain pours, she decides to pass the time, and instead begins to ponder her relationship with her blue pegasus companion.
She can only wonder if she'll even have a future with Rainbow Dash if it doesn't look like help is on the way at all.

That was a really sweet story. I loved how the memories kept coming to Fluttershy.
Honestly, I think this story deserves the feature box more than half of what gets up there.

Not sure if the writing style is for this particular story, or if I really write like that. Never noticed the pronoun use. I'm sort of wondering if I actually do that a lot...
As for more future stories, let's see what my magical dice decide. I grabbed a few dice, labeled them, and they decided genre, characters, etc. This story was originally just a writing exercise with a method my english teacher suggested with a pony modification.
So I'm looking forward to any new ones that might come out from rolling them if I hit a writer's block. 
I'm also contemplating a companion piece for Together that shows Rainbow's feelings at the time. I'm not certain until I finish organizing the details for it. All I know is that it will follow the same format and style to create similar a similar effect as Together. I'm overall happy with the result of this oneshot, and I'd like to do it again with a different angle.
very well done, if not a bit predictable. touching nonetheless, which is actually a complement seeing as how you took a predictable plot and warped it into a heartwarming work of art. all in all good fic have some emotes on the house

not bad. I liked it except for the fact it is a homo shipping. not to condem you or gays or lesbians, but I just don't like them. now if it was big mac instead of rainbow you'd REALLY have something!

There are more signs of AppleDash and FlutterDash then any straight main six pairing.
For example. Fluttershy and Rainbow have been friends since young. They are constantly seen flying around together or hanging out either in show or in mention. In the episode "The dragon Migration" Rainbow dash has a picture of her and Fluttershy watching a butterfly migration. How many ponies do you know can make Rainbowdash do something that "lame" as she would call it. Not to mention Rainbow dash always is either at Sweet apple acres or hanging with fluttershy in some way. The apple cider episode when Rainbow Dash has the chance of getting cider before anyone (or so she thought) she decides to instead go to Fluttershy's house to get her so she can get in line with her. You know even though the show canonly portrays them as friends there is more context for a Flutterdash or Appledash then there is any evidence of FlutterMac. Big Mac is a secondary character and is hardly in the show let alone Fluttershy and Big Mac are never seen hanging out at all.
While you have the right to your opinions don't openly say something stupid about gay love when the show has more context of gay love in one episode then they do about straight love in the entire series. For example the Cutie Mark Chronicles, nuff said.
