Nopony but herself with a growing, twisted mindset and nopony to steer her in the right direction. This is her start of darkness, leading her to what she would one day become.

Starlight Glimmer has regrets. Ghosts of her past continue to haunt her. But is there really such a thing?

Takes place in the Reassurances 'Verse right before "A Royal Problem".

Starlight has put up with a lot having Trixie as a friend. Nopony ever said friends were perfect, and Starlight has been willing to give Trixie the benefit of the doubt for some time now.

But after Trixie accidentally infects Starlight with poison joke when she doesn't listen to Starlight's warnings, Starlight starts to question if being friends with Trixie is really worth it, and threatens to break off their friendship if Trixie can't learn to listen.

While Maud tries to help Starlight calm down and reconsider her actions, Trixie seeks help from Twilight to figure out how to best apologize to Starlight and show that she's changed. But are Maud and Twilight up to the task of healing a broken bond? Or will Trixie lose her closest and best friend?

Starlight's village is coming along just fine. With fifty ponies following Equality, everything is going well. However, she still needs more ponies, especially earth ponies, to help build Our Town. Fortune favors her when she comes across a strong earth pony mare scouring the ground for unique stones.

Now the only thing left is to recruit her into the cult, right? Well, it may be harder than Starlight anticipated.

[REMEMBER THIS IS ALL FICTION]

During Part 2 of the Season 5 Finale, Twilight Sparkle reenters the past the confront Starlight Glimmer once more after escaping from a changeling-infested future. Twilight then proceeds to try to beat Starlight in a magic battle.

What viewers witnessed were roughly 45 seconds of action that ended with Twilight and Starlight landing back on a cloud, exhausted and out of breath, before hearing an excited cry from filly Rainbow Dash and the other two colts who were watching in excitement, having been distracted from the race.

However, things don't add up at all here. After fighting Tirek in the Season 4 Finale for about the same amount of time and quadruple the magic power, neither were exhausted in any way. Because of this, there should be no way that Starlight and Twilight, two of the most powerful ponies in Equestria, can run out of power in less than a minute. Also, how could all the other fillies be acting excited over watching less than a minute of action?T he answer is simple. They fought for almost an hour, but (thanks to Sweetie Belle's reminder of friendship problems being over in half an hour or so) it had to be shortened to fit the air time. Chrysalis kidnapped a dozen ponies, threatened Equestria, was betrayed by her own kind, and has now vowed vengeance on Starlight Glimmer before leaping from the ruins of her castle and flying off. She is definitely going to get away.

Against her will(mostly), Starlight agrees to protect Ponyville when Twilight and her other five friends are busy saving the entire world. The unicorn only agreed to this startling position because she actually believed that she wouldn't be doing any saving immediately.

She didn't think villains could pop out of nowhere, but they did, much to her chagrin. It's up to her to defeat them one by one, with her faithful butler--er, friend Spike and Robin...I mean, Trixie at her side.

It's been a few weeks since Starlight Glimmer nearly destroyed all of time and space, and she hasn't gone outside since. At least, not until she receives an invitation from Princess Celestia to meet for tea. This can't be good.
