When Twilight is called away for yet another dangerous adventure, Spike refuses to be left behind again. After all, he's a dragon, isn't he? The most mighty and fearsome race of creature in all the land! Why should he have to stay home and fret while Twilight risks herself to save Equestria?

When Twilight starts to pack for a camping trip with her friends, Spike volunteers not to come along and instead stay behind and manage the school and Twilight's castle.

However, the little dragon is crushed when he finds out that Starlight will be going on the camping trip as well. All alone and with no friends to spend the weekend, Spike isn't sure what he's going to do.

That is, until he gets an idea and writes a letter to Princess Luna. Now, Spike will spend the weekend with two very special (and very familiar) guests. And they'll be more helpful than they might suspect.

After an unfortunate accident, a bedbound Spike is enjoying the experience of being pampered so much it's almost like he doesn't want to get better. Perhaps what he needs is a little persuasion, curtesy of an unlikely source...

Hopefully, for Twilight's sake, sooner rather than later.

Transition is never easy. And the past can be difficult to handle alone, especially as the mind wanders before sleep. But for the first time in a millennium, Luna is no longer alone.

Luna being free from her guilt, visits Celestia in her dream to have a talk.
Luna notices something off in Celestia's dream, so she uses the Tantabus find the source of the problem. The Tantabus gets loose and causes Celestia to live her worse nightmare.

Thirty years ago, after laying her and Torch's first and only egg, Ember's mother Glazier gathered up her entire hoard and flew off, vanishing without a trace. Torch has constantly refused to talk about the whole affair, and Ember's been torn ever since becoming Dragon Lord: should she use the Bloodstone Scepter to force some answers out of him?

But then she learns where a piece of her mother's hoard might be hidden, and investigating it points her toward zebra shamans on the other side of the world.

Except...didn't Spike mention a zebra shaman when he was telling his whole story about going through the molt? And Ponyville's a lot closer than Zebrabwe...
