Spike feels he is no longer relevant to Twilight, or any pony, ever since Twilight became the Princess of Friendship. With Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and other ponies now receiving all the attention as he gets left behind to tend to chores, he questions his purpose and whether he really is seen as anything special by any pony.

Princess Luna had visited Spike in his dreams to remind him of his self-worth, but one question still remains. This being how Twilight truly views him. Is he her son? Or perhaps he was hatched to be nothing more than her assistant?

Upon Twilight's return from a difficult Friendship Mission, Spike decides the time has come for him to get an answer to this very nagging question.

Twilight Sparkle has been a faithful student at the School for Gifted Unicorns for a number of months now. She has proven to be more than worthy of being Princess Celestia's apprentice and the time has now come to share with Twilight the importance of hatching Spike while eluding towards the future efforts in which Celestia hopes her prized student will accomplish.

This story was inspired by the videogame Papers, please launched in 2013 and the story Padded Empire written by Soft ColorWaltz, where was taken the main location of the story. This story doesn't contain communists or war elements or references like the videogame, and the story adds its our elements about the location which weren't mentioned in the original Padded Empire story. The story is also pretty afar from the events of the original one. With the pass of time the Padded Empire has been converted in an important tourism and business attractive for tons of ponies, including those ones who want to live their fantasies. That's why the border guards must protect their land from any kind of evil creature who would like to disrupt their society and violate the law, but maybe the most important, try to introduce fakes of the most famous diaper brands to make the economy crash. Would they be able to do that?

Twilight Sparkle has always been something of a perfectionist. Sure, she enjoyed making lists of things and kept everything in a neat and tidy order, but that didn’t mean that she had a problem. For most of her life, she didn’t, but sometimes small quirks can evolve into things far worse and suddenly the order has to remain exactly as it is, never changing. Suddenly, Twilight finds herself thrown into unknown territory as she tries to uncover a solution for an illness that ponykind never really bothered with and she has to deal with herself: An Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

She finds herself drifting farther away from her friends and seeks solace and healing in something different, as she discovers infantilism for herself. Not everything goes perfect for her, as the relationships she has built over her time in Ponyville are put to the test and she has to deal with her own issues.

It all starts with a moment alone, a moment without books as she suddenly finds herself on a journey to discover who she is and why she does things her own way. Twilight is intent on not letting the world get to her and between her coming to heads with her friends and learning to deal with both her desires and problems, a cold winter approaches, bringing with it the greatest challenge yet.

Smolder and Ocellus have been together for some time now. Their relationship has grown and blossomed, and it seems like nothing can possibly come between them.

That is, until Smolder reveals to Ocellus that she's been given an invitation to come back home to the dragon lands. And Smolder is seriously considering the offer, even though it would mean leaving Ponyville, possibly forever.

Ocellus, however, is planning to stay in Ponyville and teach at the School of Friendship. She wants nothing more than for Smolder to stay with her so they can be together, but can the changeling get her special someone to change her mind?

When Shining Armor happens to need to go to the bathroom, he decides to use it as a teaching opportunity to show Flurry Heart how to go potty like a proper pony. After all, children learn best by example.

However, Flurry Heart soon grows bored of sitting on her potty chair and decides to have a little fun. When the little one sees what looks like a treat, she tries to grab it, not realizing what it really is.
