//------------------------------// // Ending C - Accidents Happen // Story: Flurry's Flush Fiasco // by SuperPinkBrony12 //------------------------------// “Daddy! DADDY!” Flurry cried again and again to the toilet, looking down at the drain as if she hoped that would somehow cause it to unflush her daddy and bring him back. Of course, it didn’t do anything. The toddler alicorn was all alone in the bathroom, left with the memory and realization that it had been her fault her daddy had gone down the drain. The foal didn’t know what to do. What could she do? What was one supposed to do in a situation like this? Everything that ever went down the drain never came back. But her daddy had to come back somehow, he just had to! Not only would she be in really big trouble if it was found out she’d flushed away her daddy, but she didn’t want to face a life without him. So distracted by her grief was Flurry Heart that she forgot to pay attention to where she was going. Too late, she found out where she had been unintentionally flying towards while consumed by her grief. She felt her tiny body brush up against something cold and metal, and force it down. Just like when her daddy had gone down the drain, there was a click and then a roar! Looking down, she saw the waters in the toilet bowl spinning around and around in a dizzy, disorienting fashion! The loud noise and the swirling motion took the alicorn by surprise! And to make matters worse, that was when her tiny wings decided to give out! She fell down into the toilet bowl with a splash! It was a struggle just to keep her tiny head above the water! Around and around she spun, faster and faster by the second! And was it Flurry’s imagination, or did it seem like she was being pulled? Suddenly, it hit Flurry! She was going down the drain too, just like her daddy before her! She tried to light up her horn and flap her wings to escape the pull of the hungry drain! She didn’t want to be the toilet’s next victim! But alas, no matter how hard she strained she couldn’t get her horn to spark! And her wings were too weighed down with water to be of any use! This was it, she was being flushed away in much the same fashion as her daddy had disappeared just moments earlier! At last that meant she’d hopefully end up where he’d ended up. With a garbled and gurgled cry, Flurry Heart was sucked tail first down the drain as the flush cycle ended! Then the toilet slowly refilled, giving off no indication that it had just “devoured” a full grown stallion and an alicorn foal. If not for the newspaper, the book and the discarded diaper, one would’ve been mistaken for thinking that nopony had ever been in the bathroom in the first place, let alone that two ponies had been in there just moments ago and had now gone down the drain. As for Flurry, once she had gone down the drain and past the s-bend, everything was a blur for her! She was tossed one way and then the next, banging and bumping up against the cold, metal pipes as she was powerless to fight the flow of the water. She was along for the ride as a helpless passenger, bound for an unknown destination. All the while, she could barely see at all due to how dark the inside of the pipes were. It was almost as scary as being caught in the flush cycle itself! By this point, Shining Armor had already been spat out of the pipes and into the smelly sewers below. After initially being repulsed by the horrible smell he’d picked up, he’d quickly gathered his bearings as he tried to think of what he should do next. He didn’t quite know where he was. He wasn’t in the Crystal Empire anymore, but he had no way of knowing how far the pipes had taken him or where this sewer led. The prince also had no way of knowing what had transpired in the bathroom in his absence. All he knew was that his daughter was alone, unsupervised and undoubtedly horrified by what she had seen. He knew he had to get back to her somehow! But he didn’t know how just yet. Suddenly, Shining’s ears picked up what sounded like the faint sound of screaming. And the voice that was screaming sounded vaguely familiar to him. Where had he heard such a voice before? And was it his imagination, or did it seem to be growing louder by the second? All of a sudden, a pinkish-white blob appeared before Shining as he saw a very familiar looking foal be spat out, plunging into the sewers where she landed face first with an audible splash. Immediately, he ran to the foal, realizing at once who she was! “Flurry?!” He exclaimed with disbelief! Flurry Heart quickly forgot to be scared when she lay eyes upon her daddy, relieved to see that he was okay! “Daddy!” She exclaimed, fluttering over to him and burying her face into his chest! “Daddy okay!” “Yes, Flurry,” Shining Armor nodded. “I’m fine. Daddy’s sorry if he made you worry. And he knows you didn’t mean to flush him down the drain on purpose. It was just an accident.” Flurry just sobbed. “Me thought Daddy gone forever when he go down the drain! Me thought me never see Daddy again!” “So you flushed yourself down the drain?!” Shining gasped, and received a confirming nod in reply! “Flurry, why in the name of Celestia would you do such a thing?! Don’t you realize what could’ve happened to you?! You could’ve drowned!” At that the toddler alicorn whimpered, shrinking from her father’s gaze. “Me sorry, Daddy. It was an accident, just like when me flush you. Me fall in, toilet flush me down.” The prince sighed deeply as he put a hoof to his head. “Well, at least you’re okay. But now you smell absolutely horrible! This is worse than any of the times I’ve ever had to change your dirty diapers!” Then he sniffed himself. “Although, I’m not one to talk. I stink just as bad now. We’re both going to need a bath after this.” “This where pee-pees and poo-poos go?” Flurry asked as she let her father pick her up and hold her close. Shining confirmed his daughter’s suspicions with a nod. “Yes, Flurry. This is where everypony’s pee-pees and poo-poos go after they’re flushed down the toilet. It all eventually goes to a special place, one that we’re not going to see. We need to get out of here, now!” Flurry Heart hesitantly asked. “How we get out of here? Me no can swim back up.” The stallion sighed anew before carefully setting Flurry down to wade alongside him. “I know you can't. I couldn't swim back up either. We’ll just have to look for an exit. There should be a ponyhole cover or drain pipe somewhere around here. Then, we’ll teleport back to the bathroom so we can both be cleaned up,” With a blush he added. “And, if you have to go while we’re down here, just… go. Pee-pees and poo-poos end up here anyway.” “Okay, Daddy.” Flurry agreed. At least that was one positive in this case, she was free to potty wherever and whenever she wanted: No diaper, no potty chair, no anything. Eventually, Shining’s eyes spotted light streaming down ever so faintly from above. Taking hold of his daughter once again, he trotted over to it and slowly ascended a ladder resting to the side of a brick wall. Step by step, he rose until finally both he and his daughter were back above ground and in the light of day once again! “Alright, now let’s go home! Hold tight, Flurry.” Shining instructed, before lighting up his horn and picturing his destination clear in mind as he teleported away with his daughter in tow. About a second or so later, there was a pop and a flash of magic, and then both daddy and daughter were back in the bathroom they had been in just moments before, almost as if they’d never left in the first place. “Remember, Flurry,” Shining Armor insisted as he placed his daughter upon her potty chair while he prepared a nice warm bath for the two of them. “Not a word of this to anypony, okay? Not even to Mommy. This never happened.” Flurry Heart nodded and winked. “Uh-huh, Daddy. Me not tell anypony that we both get flushed.” Shining smiled and winked back. “Exactly!” And with that “loose end” taken care of, he could now focus on bathing himself and his daughter. Thank Celestia Cadence wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon. He had no idea how he’d ever explain this to her, or if she’d ever believe him. Well, what mattered most right now was that his daughter wasn't scared out of giving up her diapers. He could worry about this unusual toilet later.
