Rainbow has known Fluttershy for a long time, almost longer than she can remember remembering things at all. Lately, though... things have been weird. Not like... super weird, but weird.

It's like... Shy is still Shy, but cooler? Not quite. It's complicated. Rainbow wasn't actually planning to do anything about it, though. Not until Applejack stuck her nose into Rainbow's business.

Still, maybe it will be okay. She just has to talk to Shy, right?

Manehatten is a city of paradox, at least that is how Fluttershy finds it. Constantly surrounded by it's millions of residents, the ex-model still feel more alone and isolated than ever... because any one of the crowd could be him. The faceless stalker, known only by the pseudonym "Sombra," hounds her every step. She has one chance, one hope... Rainbow Dash, Private Detective.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy share a dance together at Canterlot High's Winter Formal.

Both Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have known one another since they were no more than fillies learning to fly in Cloudsdale. Now, after years of friendship, hardships, adventuring and secretly harbouring deep feelings for one another, the two are a finally marefriends. Ultimately, all that has happed to them seems rather silly when they sit down and think about it, but it is an awful lot to think about.

In Rainbow's world, she has been together with Fluttershy for two months.

The day she learned Fluttershy is with Pinkie on the other side of the mirror is the day that world turned upside-down.

And she's going to look in all the wrong places trying to fix it.

Fluttershy asks Rainbow to help her with pick-up lines because she likes her. Of course Fluttershy's going on Pinkie's advice, so it's really very wrong. But neither of them know it, and ignorance is bliss.

What will happen? Will the pick-up lines become more than just practice? Will Rainbow actually like Fluttershy back?

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, home alone inside Fluttershy parents house. Nothing else to do but play small board games and talk.

Once upon a breezy night, counting the stars and snuggling up close for warmth atop a low-hanging cloud somewhere over Ponyville, two young pegasi who had always been friends first admitted the true depths of their affection for one another.

But that was eighteen months ago, and Rainbow Dash isn't sure she understands Fluttershy anymore; what she wants, what she's afraid of; what she really feels. Frustrated and sworn to silence, all she wants is what she thinks is best for them both - but can she work out how to reconcile their differences, and after she's been through so much to get to this point, does she even want to anymore?

Rainbow Dash storms off into the night after trying to be comforted by a dear friend. Somethings bothering the pegasus, and everypony knows, but Rainbow isn't willing to explain why. Until a familiar pegasus helps her open up.
