She's in love with Big Macintosh. And it's driving her just a little bit insane.

A strange, supernatural phenomena encompasses Ponyville. It doesn't take long for this 'infection' to spread across the town. With quick thinking, five survivors seal themselves off from the hordes, but the events only take a turn for the worse. Will they be able to survive this nightmarish disaster?

Big Macintosh is a stallion of few words and he prefers it that way.

Of course that doesn't mean he doesn't have stuff that he wants. Far from it in fact. But the thing he wants most is have to a good day.

That might be easier said then done however and there's only so much one guy can take.

After some convicing from his sister Applejack and Granny, Smith Big Macintosh decides to take a day off from working in the fields.

He goes to Sugarcube Corner where he unintentionally attracts the attention of a certain pink pony, and Applejack finds out.

Now the pink party pony must find a way to prove her affections for Ponyvillie's mare magnet, who isn't even aware of a crush.

Caramel has had feelings for Applejack ever since their chance encounter in Manehattan. By bizarre happenstance, Caramel arrives at Sweet Apple Acres. Years later, his feelings are still strong, and it isn't until after some encouragement from Mac that spurs Caramel to make his move.

A certain pony also has Big Macintosh's heart. This one is the hyperactive and random Pinkie Pie.

Appleloosa. A town built to withstand anything. But when mysterious visitors rob them of their very livelihood, Spitfire and Big Macintosh have to work together to save the town, as well as their developing friendship.

A/N: Story I just sort of came up with. I really like westerns, and Appleloosa seems like a great setting. Shipping is happening (wanted to see a change of pace in it), as well as violence (What'd you expect, it's a western.). Enjoy!

Two years ago I wrote this and posted it on Deviant Art. The feedback I received was so good that it pretty much became the reason I began writing pony fiction on my spare time. It was not even that good, but from the one fic i received almost 500 views, 11 favorites, and 15 watchers. This is my attempt to revamp this shipping.

In an alternate universe of hardship and despair, the tyrannical despony Celestia has reigned for almost eleven hundred years. Her sister Luna, an upstart who had almost succeed once in overthrowing her rule a thousand years prior, had just returned from her forced exile to rule as a figurehead by Celestia's side.
Even in the midst of the ciaos and confusion, ponies had still managed to live normal, productive lives. Pinkie Pie was still a party planner, Rarity still designed clothes, Rainbow Dash still cleared the clouds, and Flutter Shy still watched the animals. Twilight Sparkle still lived with her friends in Ponyville, but the elements of harmony were never used.
Now an ordinary farm pony has met the defunct Princess of the Night, and a lasting love is born. From this forbidden love affair, a revolution is brewing, but will the mane six you love survive it?

Forget everything you know.

It's been weeks since Winter Wrap up and the first signs of life are starting to spring to the surface of Equestria. It is a happy time. Birds are singing and young love is in the air. For one mare however, spring is a sad time because she is again alone. Her best friend in the world, Angel sets out to help her find the stallion of her dreams. But, will the quest change the rabbit forever.

It is a lesson we all learn early; life is unfair. Oftentimes life gives little to nothing back to reward those who make it through her trials, but that does not keep the strong from hoping.

When life itself hangs in the balance, we realize just how precious it is, and it can help us to realize that which we have overlooked many times before.

Big Macintosh has things going fairly well for himself. He does his share of the work at Sweet Apple Acres and helps to support his family along with his sister.

But Granny Smith has been talking lately. She thinks an eligible stallion such as himself should find a well-to-do mare and get married before he's too old. And now she's gotten an idea: why doesn't Applejack introduce him to her friends?
