It's easy to think about fairytales when you’re an ancient alicorn trapped in a library for centuries on end. It's easy to wonder how one would go about rescuing you, to think and devise and plot out how to free you in a blaze of glory, intrigue, adventure, and romance.

Or, rather, it’s easy until suddenly it happens and you’re forced to ask yourself the one terrifying question you’d yet to consider.

When one of Twilight's spells goes a bit awry, she finds that an affected Rarity might be a little more than she bargained for.

(Originally posted on EqD in April 2011. I originally meant to keep this as a one-shot, but wrote the second part after there was demand for it. I do like how the second part came out though, so no regrets!)

One night, Twilight notices something odd as she's nestled in bed with Rarity: her hair smells different, just slightly. The next morning, her tea tastes a little bit less sweet, and the flowers outside smell somewhat less fragrant. Out at a cafe together, the music doesn't sound as sharp and clear, and Rarity's new dress feels marginally less smooth against her coat.

Twilight just wants to know what's happening, so she can fix it. It has to be temporary, after all.

Reunited after days apart, Twilight is eager to share a quiet and intimate moment with Rarity. However, in order to do so, both must be willing to unveil their scars.

Small oneshot set in the continuity of The Enchanted Kingdom.

Twilight's been spending her days alone in her library. Rarity rather misses the bookworm. A little magic meddling is all she needs for love.

The usual blame to fourths, Cake Eater, and the source of all Raritwi. Special blame to FanOfMostEverything for "Also, story where Rarity gets turned into a book to Twilight's delight when?" comment, so this happened.

Twilight finds herself too frightened to ask Rarity a question, so she asks by not asking it at all.

Small ficlet written some time ago to cheer up my significant other during a bad day.

Twilight asks Rarity an important question: Will she stay the night?

Her answer is almost always the same. Maybe that's why Twilight keeps asking.

Princess Twilight Sparkle is married to Rarity but sadly she was married to her title first. After another grueling session of diplomatic drama all she wants is to get back to her lover and apologize for being inattentive for so long. Again.

Twilight/Rarity shipfic that gets a bit fluffy near the end.

Everypony enjoys myths and ponytales, even if they know such things aren't real. Alicorns fighting against a spirit of chaos? An ancient princess trapped in a library under a tree, waiting to be found? Quite enchanting and fantastic tales yes, but nonetheless as fictional as Daring Do and other such stories. At least, that's what Rarity used to think.

She doesn't anymore.

Life is like a train ride, don't you think, dearest? The tracks have been set, destination picked and the ticket is well in hoof. What a shame that so many, myself included, are so focused on the destination that they fail to realize a universal truth.

Destinations will change, trains will be caught and missed, but there will always be somepony willing to journey with you—so long as you let them.
