Not long ago, a strange creature named Anon wandered into Maretime Bay. It was clear from the get-go that he needed some help, but not everypony was immediately accepting of the strange creature. So, it fell to Sunny Starscout and her friends to look after the new arrival.

...At least, that was what they thought. When their backs were turned, Anon made an unlikely friend, and she was the last pony they expected to see him with. Posey Bloom isn't exactly known for getting along with others.

And yet, she adores him.

Twilight's castle has gone through many wild and life altering changes over the years. What once was a simple library was now the seat of a princess and her council. Not only that, over the years it's played host to so many new and interesting people; each one memorable in their own way.

Which makes it all the stranger that there's this pony tending to the books lately that nobody seems to know... But she seems so familiar!

Ever since Grogar brought Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Queen Chrysalis together, they haven't spent a lot of time doing evil like they wanted. In fact, Grogar mostly has them hanging out in a cave underground. With the boredom that comes with it, the three of them have to find ways to pass the time.

This story is a sequel to A Hypothetical Question

Several days have passed since Princess Twilight Sparkle has moved the statue of the three villains to the deepest depths of her basement.

But something is wrong, things are starting to levitate, explode, and even combust, all in the vicinity of the statue.

To find a stop to the issue, Twilight enlists the help of her... Acquaintance, Discord.

It is his job to travel into the statue and figure out what is happening.

"Discord! Listen to this hypothetical, and tell me how this somehow proves me wrong!"

Queen Chrysalis has been defeated, and together with Cozy Glow and Lord Tirek, is trapped inside a statue for the foreseeable millennium.

In order to alleviate her boredom, She asks her prison-mates a hypothetical question.

Surely no arguments would occur as a result of such innocent questioning?

It was a major shake-up for most ponies: the loss of magic from Equestria. But for Cozy Glow, it just meant swapping her enchanted stone prison for a normal ball-and-chain one. Besides, that was ten years ago. What does she care of the humbled world outside? Or that it just delivered her an uppity new cellmate?

Luster Dawn cares. A lot. It's why she's here.

(Takes place between The Last Problem and Gen 5. AU Tag because these events are probably gonna get invalidated by canon someday.)
