In a world of brass and steam, Twilight Sparkle had thought she had made a life-changing discovery with the invention of the telescope. For better or worse, she was correct.

Now her discovery has not only changed her life, but the lives of those she seeks out in her desperate attempt to contact the only other creature as lonely as Twilight herself.

It all would have been much simpler, but it had to be the one Twilight could only call The Mare on the Moon.

Decidedly not within walking distance, then.

Knead Top is the lone owner of his pizza parlor, Topper’s Pizza. It was originally his parents’ pizza place, but they gave it to him.

…in their will.

One night, Princess Luna visits this pizza shop. They enjoy a pizza. Then, the next week, she comes back. And then again. And then again…?

They end up friends. One of them wants it to be something more.

But first, Topple needs to learn to let go.

Knead Top is a lonely pizza shop owner. After inheriting the shop (and all the responsibility) from his parents after their passing, he’s had a hard time making the bills due to the severe lack of customers.

Canterlot just wasn’t in the mood for pizza anymore.

However, one pony seemed to be.

…Princess Luna and Topple enjoyed the night they spent together.

Evening has come again and you find yourself snuggled up with your Goddess of the Night. Right now you want nothing more than to snuggle her and that's what you're going to do.

Luna is a mare of routines if only to survive the guilt. Her most important routine is waking up in the afternoon and contemplating her life. It's a moment of clarity and repentance, or at least that's what Luna thinks. One fateful day leaves Celestia's duties in her hooves and overthrows such routines. Is this punishment or a chance to change?

In the aftermath of Nightmare Moon's banishment, Celestia was left with grief. She lost Luna to the Nightmare's corruption, the Castle of the Two Sisters lay in ruin, and the Everfree was scarred by the battle. Despite everything, ponies call on her to lower the moon. So, the Princess is left with the Moon and her grief.

Princess Luna is a rather archaic princess. Being a thousand years forward in the world, it is understandable. She always assumed that she would always be an outlier to others, never finding something even nearly as old as her besides books and buildings.

However, she is surprised to discover an object more archaic than her. Far more archaic.

A train.

A rather... famous train.

Celestia: a filly of twelve. A cynical, hungry pauper, with a young sister to protect and feed.

But the food has run out. Winter has gripped the land for too long, and now the pair face starvation.

The cynic in Celestia knows she can't move the sun. But the child in her wonders... and so she tries.
