After the Changeling invasion, Celestia and Luna make the decision to have Twilight investigate the Elements of Harmony and solve the mystery of their power.

A thousand years later, Rainbow Dash awakens in a world she does not recognize. She has no idea how or why she came to be there. She does not know the language, the geography or any of the rules of this new time. She soon finds allies in Star Fall, a scholarly pegasus whose Talent is Magic, and Astrid, Star Fall's Griffin guardian. Together they set out to discover why Dash has been sent to the future, and how she might return to when she belongs.

War threatens the nations, a Nightmare stalks the shadows, and Rainbow Dash's arrival has turned her into a wild card in a deadly game that pits the law on both sides of a broken Equestria against a mysterious criminal figure, Max Cash. Rainbow Dash loves flying more than anything else in Equestria. At least that is what her friends think. In truth she loves Fluttershy more than anything and would even trade her wings for a chance to snuggle with the mare of her dreams... but of course that would never happen, after all...cool ponies didn't cuddle. Cuddling was for mushy romance novels and a criminally adorable yellow Pegasus. A Pegasus who had a long mane and tail and smelled like wild flowers. An aromatically inciting mare who should be arrested immediately if she ever wore those pink socks that matched her mane again. Then if Rainbow got into the Wonderbolts she could be the arresting officer and use all the latest interrogation snuggles and tickling implements to get Fluttershy to confess to her crimes of being twenty percent cuter than Equestrian law would allow... but no... Cool ponies didn't love cute things... cool ponies didn't like hugging shy mares in pink socks... and most of all, cool ponies didn't cuddle...

Being an accident-prone pony has many drawbacks. Now, however, is the worst time for Derpy's mistakes to take their latest toll on her finances.

When paying for damages incurred by her clumsiness leaves her unable to pay for her daughter's birthday present, she is determined that Dinky will have a wonderful day anyhow.

That’s easier said than done, however, when the only pony you have to turn to in a crisis is yourself.

At the start of every storm, Pinkie Pie forsakes the safety and comfort of her home to gallop out into the rain and the lightning, and sit on the tallest hill in Ponyville. Everyone writes her behavior off as her "just being Pinkie Pie". That's true, though. She is being Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie would do anything to show a friend that she cares, and she knows one friend who is closer to the storms than anyone else. She knows that by showing her love for the storms when no one else will, she's showing her love for the pony who makes those storms.

Applejack agreed to leave Rarity for a single day, since Rarity needs to prepare a new fashion line. But in silence, she loses her inspiration.

This story is for a friend of mine. She's silly, awesome and bestinastes (Shut up. It's a word.) all around.

Rarity's search for gemstones leads her to Sweet Apple Acres, and Applejack has no problem guiding her around the orchard. But when a freak storm strikes, the two ponies must race against the tempest to find shelter.

As the storm rages overhead, Applejack wrestles with the growing unrest within her heart regarding Rarity. And as events unfold, Rarity is forced to examine her own opinions and feelings towards her best friend.

When Rainbow Dash finds Pinkie Pie in a sudden depressed, sorrowful state, she takes it upon herself to cheer her friend up.

But sometimes a friend doesn't just need cheering up. Sometimes that friend just needs another friend by their side every step of the way.
