Chapter Forty-seven, Musical pt 2

"Bubblegum!" Beastman yelled. "You don't have to do this! We all do care for you! Stop listening to the lies!"

"They aren't lies!" She shouted. "They're the truth!"

"Maybe the truth about your faster mom," Fire Hoof stated, recently coming to see what was wrong, "but not with us!"

"You!" Bubblegum picked him up with her magic. "You betrayed me! You thought I was selfish !"

"Yeah.... Thought!" He sighed. "You have a right to be mad at me. I treated you like trash, thought I was better and more handsome then any stallion you could go out with. That's why I'm sorry. But, now, you have a stallion who truly cares about you and loves you. So, I respect him. I hope you can forgive me."

Bubblegum's eyes turned back to normal as they teared up. She sets Fire Hoof down to the ground.

It seems plain to me

As the song ends, she looks down at the two before shaking her head. They see her eyes switch from normal to white over and over again.

Just kill them, Bubblegum! Her mind told her. Then you won't be hurting anymore!

"NO!" She yelled loudly.

Yes! Don't you want to feel safe? Free of all those emotions?

"Killing them won't remove my memories!"

So it's your memories you're worried about? I can fix that!

Suddenly, she started grunting, shaking her head back and forth to get this voice out of her head before collapsing. The shadow figure jumped out of her horn as she returned to normal. Fire Hoof happened to see this as he runs over to it and tackles it.

"Why did you do that to Bubblegum?!"

"Because I can!" It said, smiling. "I can do anything I want to!"

Fire Hoof look over to his left to see a pink pony cutting an apple as he grabbed her knife and stabbed the shadow, causing him to disappear out of thin air. The pink pony looked at him with a frown.

"I was going to use that!" She said, blowing her violet mane to the side.

"Sorry." He looked at her and squinted. "Who are you?"

"I'm Berryshine and that was my knife my grandmother gave me."

"Again, sorry." He hands her the knife.

"Are you okay, Bubblegum?" Beastman said, shaking Bubblegum body to make sure she was alive.

She woke up as she rubs her head. She looks at Beastman and tilts her head. "What happened? And who are you?"

Beastman almost cracked up. "Really? I'm your boyfriend. You know, Beastman Sunra Firefox?"

"'Sun'-rah?!" She gasped, frightened. "Where am I?"

"Don't play that game Bubblegum."

"Who's Bubblegum? That seems like a pretty stupid name."

Beastman gulps as he runs over to Fire Hoof. "Um, we have a huge problem."

After he explained everything to him, Fire Hoof ran over to Bubblegum as he helps her up.

"Do you remember me?"

She shakes her head.

"Well, this calls for some desperate measures." He grabs his boombox as music starts playing.

They didn't last very long and they've been pretty scarce
I used to think that was sensible

(Well, it's not)

It makes the truth even more incomprehensible

What can I do

Beastman
