However, new enemies are coming to destroy them. Can Twilight and her friends survive a mad god, an evil plan to take over Equestria, and an author who's finally adding a plot to this story?

Sombra was a mage in the service of the Crystal Empire and was brought before the leading council after nearly killing one of the city guards. The court quickly becomes a shouting match, as Sombra accuses the council of not doing enough for the Empire.

Sombra has plans to restore the Crystal Empire to its former glory.

It is during these moments of heartbreak that a mysterious stranger appears. He doesn't stay for long, and doesn't say much, but he has been there every time Celestia loses someone important.

Who is he? Why is he there? And why is it that Celestia is the only one who can see him?

Twilight's friends all have problems that they want her to help with, but Twilight finds herself indecisive. Feeling overwhelmed, she finds a spell in one of her books that may help her out...by splitting her into two seperate ponies.

One Twilight is cold and logical. The other is creative and emotional. Can the two Twilights solve their friends' problems? Or will they just make things worse?
