I thought these poems would be appreciated more here than on deviantart. Poems will be posted here as I'm inspired to write them. I hope you all enjoy!
Also, because this is kind of an add-to-it-as-I'm-inspired piece, character tags may shift around from time to time.

These have been appearing a lot lately. To the point I'm just going to ignore them for now.

You seem to like writing about the villains in the show, don't you?
Well, I rather enjoyed these

I do indeed like writing about the villains. For some reason the darker elements of the show inspire poetry better than the other ones do.
I'm glad you enjoyed them. More will probably come. . . eventually. . .

Re your author's note, the referenced picture is My Night Will Last Forever. It's been a while since you wrote that, and you've probably got it figured out, but all it takes is clicking the little chain-link icon and filling the address and link title in.

This is definitely my favorite of the collection. You've set a challenging rhyme scheme and the cadence of it is quite impressive (with a few minor hiccups, like "Snow and lightning gleam in your eye", which would read better as "Snow and storm…" to push it toward iambic with a truncated first syllable instead of flipping awkwardly from trochee to iamb). This is a cut above the usual poetry I see on the site and I'll be contributing a little star toward your statistics.

If you haven't already seen it, by the way, you might also appreciate Pony Verse, which is IMHO the best poetry collection on the site (it's a multi-author collaboration to which I made a few modest contributions), and AugieDog's poetry collection is pretty remarkable too.

4178860 :pinkiegasp: Oh my. . . a little critique/praise and a fave from the person who not only ponified, but Sombrafied The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock. To say that I'm flattered would be a monumental understatement:pinkiehappy:

D'aww. :twilightblush: Anyway, thank you for writing and keep up the good work!

You have a beautiful talent for poems!
I enjoy all of them but this one and 'The Mare in the Moon' are my favourites :trollestia:

These were quite lovely.
